Anurakti's pov I was currently sleeping but then I heard loud sound of thunder clashing and my sleep got disturbed . I knew I was nowhere going to be asleep again as it's almost 5 , so here I am currently in gym area doing exercise
After a great exercise session , I took a nice warm shower as it's raining and also I don't need any specific reason for taking warm showers as they are a need .
20 min later
"Anurakti come fast sweetie, Steve's waiting at the door" mom shouted . "Yeah coming mom" I said and then wore a black satin shirt and a pair of blue jeans and not to forget the white coat too.
So yea , Steve is basically my driver who daily drives me to my work place . He is in his mid 30's . He's so kind and cheerful and loves to talk that's why our vibe matches a lot.
"Hi ! , before dropping me to my workplace can you please stop by at a waffle shop?" I said as I sat in the car. "Yes kiddo,why not" Steve said . I love waffles , I can even die for them .... I ate a nuttela waffle the usual and then went to my work place. So basically I own a hospital and I'm the head of Gynae department, this has always been my dream and it's complete now .., finally!..
(around 8pm)
Dad's calling me, he doesn't usually call except when there's something important, I answered the call . "Yes dad" "Sweetie ,there's a party today at 10, we are heading over there and as you have your shift till 9 so Steve will be dropping you home and get ready , wear something Indian and then come to the venue ,, does that sounds good?!."
My Dad "Mayank Kapadia" is one of the top businessman of the country and he gets these invitations of parties that usually go all night long starting from 10 or 11 pm to 4 or 5 in the morning. Mom and dad love these parties and they enjoy themselves, not gonna lie I do too.
"Sweetie are you there" dad said , probably I took to much time to think around "Yeah sure dad, you and your business parties" I said before ending the call After my shift got over I reached the main gate of the hospital and sat in the car and uncle Steve drove it to my home , it's not like I cannot drive , I can and I love to but as uncle Steve is my bodyguard as well so I got no option other than sitting at the back and enjoying the street view duhh!.
As soon as I reached home I took a warm shower and wore my bathrobe and got out of my bathroom. As dad said I decided to wore something Indian . Yeah mom and dad are from India but I am brought up in New York but I love my country. We decided to shift India few years ago but dad's business started growing well and then we had to cancel that plan . I remember I was too sad that I didn't came out of my room for 1 whole week , but then later mom consoled me and then I was back to my normal self . My mom "Kiran Kapadia" is my strength, she understands me like no one else can and I absolutely adore her .
Back to getting ready and I am readyyyy..

I sat in the car and uncle Steve drove to the venue . As soon as I entered the hall , I saw men in suit , women in gown and even some kids The music playing was soft , some were dancing on the stage , there was a bar too people were drinking , talking ,women gossiping, men 's business talks ..
