DUE TO THE THINGS that happened recently, you could say that Charlie Froud was now a friend of Kenny Payne. Well, just after getting to know them better, it could be said that they were really similar to each other — being bullied by the same people, and the feeling that they didn't have anyone else but themselves made them really close. The only thing that was different was that Charlie would get help from someone, but pushed his family away, and Kenny's only way in getting help was joining karate.
But Charlie couldn't let him do that all alone, so he joined in too, hoping that one day he would find the right way to stand up to his bullies and get revenge on them.
He was scared, though. Not because of Cobra Kai, but because of what his family ( especially Willow or his father ) would do when they would find out about him training in the hated by them dojo. Charlie knew pretty well that one day he would have to tell them eventually, but preferred living with the thought that he still got a lot of time.
"As you can see, the West Valley High campus is a lot longer than the middle school, and when you become a freshman next year, you'll— you'll have access to some amazing facilities. Our science lab is state of art. Well, at least it was," Mr.Palmer announced as the group of kids followed after him throughout the school, watching everything around with lots of different emotions on their faces.
When they stopped in the middle of the corridor, the man's face dropped. Charlie scrunched his eyebrows in confusion, having on his mind everything Willow once told him after the school fight that happened at the school. From what he remembered, there were many changes and losses after it.
The Froud boy's head shot towards the Payne's boy, whose attention was remaining on the teacher until he heard the boy's whisper.
"I heard it was sick," he commented dramatically after some girl from their class mentioned the school fight incident, also gaining an uncomfortable glare from the man. Kenny looked over at his friend, a small smile crashing down his lips before he continued looking around the building.
