Mary looked at her new self in the mirror. She looked fierce as a warrior, and pretty as a young lady. She still had her father's time travelling crystal, but only a little essence is left. She got out of her bedroom, stood on the balcony, and looked at the full moon in awe. It reminded her of her adventure with Din'xi every Moon Festival.
Mary's POV
"I better..go and prepare. Who knows what sign my ancestors will give me. Probably another mission for me to avenge them. Even Din'xi. But... i wonder how Claire and the gang are doing."
No one's POV
And suddenly, a beam of light shone in Mary's closet. She was astonished and happy to find that her ancestors gave her a sign. Then out of the beam, a man in the form of a dragon spirit, appeared in front of her. Then Mary saw the figure and she gasped. It was the spirit of Chang Wu Wang, the main ancestor and the first to start the family bloodline. Mary then quickly bowed down on the floor,then got back up again. He looked at her with concern.
"Meirian. As my faithful decendant, the family needs you for one last mission." He began, with his serious tone.
"Yes, my ancestor. Whatever it takes, i will risk my life to complete whatever you wish for." She replied.
Chang then took a deep breath, then agreed. He took out a scroll and gave it to her.
"Open the scroll, Meirian." He commanded. Mary did what he was told. And then when she opened it, it revealed a shocking secret. The scroll was filled with the Dangendia's whereabouts. Some of the troops were camping in Arcadia, but from a faraway distance.
"I've heard that you wanted to rid the Dangedia." He began.
"Yes. I wanted to fight them back in Xi'an, but i was too little. After what they did to our people, we let them get away. But not this time, i'll make sure that the people will have justice by fighting them, even though it's by risking my own life." replied Mary.
"Very well, child. Sacrifices had to be made in order to protect a kingdom. But, you are not ready yet." He said.
"I understand. Is there any master i could go to train?" asked Mary.
"There is one, and you will find him just by going south of Xi'an. He is the last master of the Feng Temple. I have no idea if it is still there, after the Dangedia invaded that city. And he is also your godfather." Chang replied. Mary agreed to the information. Then Chang said his farewell to Mary and decended back to the light and vanished.
"Well, that's a start." Mary thought.
Suddenly, her phone rang.
"Oh, for Ma Ma's sake! Who is it?" She screamed. Then she picked up the phone and answered it. It was Claire, her best friend, who is also a sorcereress.
"Mare? Hello?" Claire asked.
"Oh. Hi Claire! what's up?" Mary asked, sounding a bit uneasy.
"I just called to check up on you. Are you alright?" Claire asked.
"Yeah, i'm fine! Don't worry about me." Mary replied, with a fake expression.
"Oh. Ok, and also one more thing, do you happen to know about a group called a Dan- something? Douxie was looking for them centuries ago." Claire asked.
"Claire, come over to my house now! Teleport here or whatever you do but be fast!" Mary replied with a shocked expression.
"Why, what happened?"
"Just come over, now!"
With that, she hung up and smashed her phone.
"And now, ain't nobody gonna call me again."
---5 minutes later--
Claire had teleported to Mary's room. She looked around for Mary but could not find her.
"Mare? Are you here?"
"Hey Claire." Mary greeted sternly. Claire was startled.
"Oh. Hi Mare. Never seen your room so gloomy."
"Claire. The thing you were asking me earlier, is actually true."
"Wait, really? How did you know?"
"I have been hunting them down ever since my kingdom was conquered centuries ago."

"What kingdom? Wait... Mare. You are not from Arcadia, aren't you?"
"It's very hard to explain, but, it's a painful and a regretful past that i had."
"Wait, so that means... you are a time traveller!"
"No. I'm just like Douxie. But different."
"Oh. So you lived in the past?"
"Yes."
Flashback

Flashback ends
"Wait, so you are a knight?" Claire asked.
"Actually, i was. But since her death, i stripped my own title because of her. And it's called royal guard, fyi." Mary replied.
"So the Dangedia still exists?"
"Just a few minutes ago, i was informed. They are somewhere not far from Arcadia."
"Wait, if Douxie knows about them, then he might be hunting for them too!"
"Hm. Rarely seen emo boy doing any hunting."
"So, now that i know, what are you going to do?"
"I'll hunt them down to avenge my people. I'm gonna find my godfather in my kingdom."
"Woah, does that place even exist? It sounds like a thousand year old place."
"Must be filled of booby traps, that's for sure."
"Mare, i cannot let you do this alone. You're barely the fighting type. You're more like...barbie type. No offence."
"None taken. And don't call me barbie. Fine, but if you die, it's your fault."
"Ha, says the one who didn't have her fighting experience."
Mary then held out her hand. Claire looked confused. Then both of Mary's swords flew to her and when it touched her, her warrior suit automatically came out and changed Mary.
"Woah. That was...so sick, Mare!"
"Old trick."
Then they both jumped into a portal made by Claire, to go to a familiar place. Trollmarket."
