Aya rolled her eyes.
"Meilian, if you came here for training, you've come to the right place. And that also goes for you, Lady Nuñez. I will teach you about shadow magic and it's techniques." Aya offered.
"Uh, i appreciate it, but i really gotta find my godfather. He's the one who could train me." Mary replied.
Aya looked down in sadness. "H-he's dead."
"What?" Mary was shocked. She couldn't believe that she came all the way to this place only to find her godfather to train her, but she was too late.
"How did he...die?" Mary asked.
Aya took a deep breath. Then she explained everything what had happened.
"So the Dangedia came here first, then to Arcadia?" Claire asked.
"Truth is, before he died, he gave me the responsibility to take over the temple. I told him that i was just a little girl. But he told me that no matter how big or small i am, i still can do it. Since then, it was so lonely here." Aya explained.
"So, how did you know my godfather?" Mary asked.
"You are so dense, i tell you. I am his daughter, silly!" Aya laughed. Both girls were shocked.
"You're his daughter?! Why didn't you tell me sooner?! We could've trained!" Mary replied.
"Well that's the reason why i asked you if you need training earlier, you dingbat!" Aya insulted playfully.
"Hey! Don't call me a dingbat! And i said yes!" Mary replied.
"No you didn't, i never heard you!" Aya glared at Mary.
The two continued bickering while Claire was standing in a corner. She couldn't wait for Aya to help her improve her magic. She had found another person who also wields magic. Not dark magic, but powerful magic.
"Hey, when you two stop, just call me, i'll be outside." Claire sassed. Both Mary and Aya glared at her.
"Yeah, right. As if you are the only person who knows the temple by heart." Aya said, sarcasm flowing through her voice." Ok, can we end our little argument and start training because, number one,Mei has to defeat the freaking horde of Dangedia, and number two, i want to help Lady Claire improve her magic, and three, i have some unfinished business to take care of."
"Finally! I was waiting! Thanks Aya." Said Claire.
Aya let out a beautiful smile. "Anytime, Lady Claire."
"Just call me Claire. Claire's fine."
Meanwhile, Mary was noticing the interaction between Aya and Claire. She smiled a bit. Then a thought hit her.
"What does she [Aya] mean about 'unfinished business'? I better ask her later. Now is the time to train.""Alrighty, i am ready to train." Mary informed Aya. She nodded and signalled for Mary and Claire to follow her. We were walking on the hallway. The wall has some pretty designs about dragons. When we reached, we saw that we were at the back of the temple. There was a pond over on Mary's right, with a flower garden in the middle, and two dragon statues were placed on the sides of the garden. A fountain was on Claire's left side, and it was flowing beautifully. Aya walked first, standing in a corner. She then starts chanting something, using her hands to make a circle. In the circle, there were chinese characters [words] representing...numbers!" Then she flows the qi to the space and then it opens automatically like a door. They then walked in, the secret door closed.
"Woah, that was..." Mary began.
"Flowing? Yes, I know." Aya replied.
"How do you know all these stuff?" asked Claire.
"I was born and raised in the temple, silly." Aya replied, giggling.
"Oh." Both Mary and Claire said.Ok I will complete this chapter by about a few days. Stay safe, and goodbye!🥰
