The sun continued to pour through the tall windows of the orphanage, casting a warm, golden hue over the room as Taehyung played contentedly with Jimin and BunBun. Jungkook stood nearby, his eyes never leaving the two of them. Every soft giggle from Taehyung, every gentle touch from Jimin, made his heart swell even more.

"Look, BunBun found a carrot!" Jimin said, holding an imaginary carrot between his fingers.

Taehyung gasped, his eyes going wide as he clapped his tiny hands together. "Cawwot! BunBun wuvs cawwots!" he squealed, making the plush bunny hop excitedly on the floor.

Jungkook couldn't help but smile, stepping closer to sit beside them. He reached out, gently brushing a stray lock of hair from Taehyung's forehead. The little boy looked up at him with bright, trusting eyes, and Jungkook felt a tug deep in his chest.

"Do you think BunBun has enough carrots now, Taehyungie?" Jungkook asked, his voice soft.

Taehyung scrunched up his nose in concentration, holding BunBun close as if pondering the question deeply. "Hmm... BunBun needs... two more cawwots!" he declared, bouncing up to his feet. "We find more!"

Jimin laughed softly, watching Taehyung's excitement with a warmth in his chest. "Alright, let's go find those last two carrots," he said, getting up to his knees and looking around the room as if the invisible vegetables were scattered everywhere.

Taehyung, determined and with BunBun tightly tucked under his arm, ran around the small play area, giggling as he pretended to search for more carrots. He stopped suddenly in front of Jungkook, looking up at him with big, expectant eyes. "Kookie hyung, you help too?"

Jungkook's heart skipped a beat at the nickname. He had never imagined that Taehyung would call him something so endearing so soon. A soft smile tugged at his lips as he nodded. "Of course, Taehyungie. Let's find those last two carrots for BunBun."

The three of them continued their little game, searching high and low for the "carrots" until Taehyung happily declared that BunBun had found enough to eat. He flopped down on the floor, giggling and hugging the plush bunny close to his chest, clearly content after the playful adventure.

"Taetae so happy!" he squealed, his little feet kicking in the air as he cuddled BunBun. His eyes sparkled with pure joy, and both Jimin and Jungkook exchanged a look, their hearts full as they watched the sweet boy before them.

Jimin reached out and gently ruffled Taehyung's soft hair. "We're happy too, Taehyung-ah," he said softly, his voice filled with affection. "You're such a good boy."

Taehyung's cheeks flushed pink at the praise, and he squirmed a little, shy but pleased. "Taetae wuvs you, nice mens," he whispered, not knowing what he did with their heart by saying this in his baby voice soft but sincere as he looked between Jimin and Jungkook with wide, trusting eyes.

Jungkook's breath caught for a moment, his heart swelling with emotion. He exchanged a glance with Jimin, and they both felt it—the undeniable pull toward this little boy who had already become so dear to them.

But as much as they wanted to stay longer, time was slipping away, and Jungkook knew they couldn't stay all day.

He crouched down beside Taehyung, his expression gentle but serious. "Taehyungie," Jungkook began softly, catching the boy's attention. "Hyung and I have to go soon."

Taehyung's eyes immediately widened, and his smile faltered. He clutched BunBun tighter to his chest, blinking up at Jungkook as if he couldn't quite believe what he was hearing. "Go? Kookie hyung go?" His voice was soft and filled with confusion, his babyish speech making the words sound even more heartbreaking.
