Prologue: Chapter 2

Trey: "My name is Trey. Trey Clover. Umm... Are you sure you're okay?"

He seems uncertain with Ari's statement about her being fine. He then spun her around for a bit to examine her for a burn.

After confirming that she's fine without any burn marks, Trey sighed in relief. However, Ari was flabbergasted by Trey's action. He noticed Ari's reaction after he spun her around. He let out a soft nervous laugh while scratched his cheek.

Trey: "Sorry for spinning you around. I'm just checking and wanting to confirm to see if you're actually fine. Can't blame me for having younger siblings."

Ari: "I see..."

Ari nodded, understanding what he meant by that. She have a friend back home who is a really overprotective on his little twin sister. As she observed Trey even more, she felt that she feels save being near him. He have a calm aura unlike some of the students in the crowd. Meaning he can be trust by her.

Ari wanted to say something but her eyes caught something in the corner of her eyes. She saw a student with red hair confidently walked toward Grim who was oblivious to the student's present. She look at the place he came from which is the small group of students that were still sitting despite the chaos.

Including the student with red hair from earlier, there seems to be five students and a floating tablet.

'Is it just me or they look so calm and cozy?!', she thought.

The group of students that were still sitting noticed that Ari was looking straight at them with a bizzare look on her face. It seems like some of them has took interest in her. They talked in between themselves.

???: "Oh my. To think that there would be a little flower appear and blooms within the potato sack."

???: "Yeah you're right! She looks so beautiful! Especially her gold eye color! I wonder if we can be friend."

???: "Hmp. The Dark Mirror would suddenly take a girl out of all into this school. Moreover being magicless as she said."

??: "Anyway, she'll be send back home after this of course."

???: "..."

Back to the scene where Grim was laughing seeing that he manage to scared the students. He then notice the student that head toward him.

???: "First, a girl who manage enroll into this school and being magicless, and now we have a monster, dare to causing havoc?"

The tension tensed as the student became angry.

???: "How dare you disrupt the solemn dignity.of our orientation ceremony. I... WILL REMOVE YOU FROM THIS ACADEMY!!!"

Grim growled at the student for threatening him.

Grim: "Oh no, you don't! You won't get in my way!!"

Grim got on all four of his legs and took a deep breathe. He then huffed out a big ball of fire toward the student. Everyone in the Mirror Chamber saw this was shocked to see the big fire. Ari, too, shocked by this and concern for the student's safety.

Ari: "Look out!!"

The fire ball was heading towards the student in fast pace. Right before the fire hit the student, he lifted up his hand, holding a pen with a gem on it. He flicked his wrist.

Out of the blue, the big fire ball disappeared. This sence shocked Ari by surprised. She watched as steam appear and soon dispersed into thin air, revealing the student unharmed.

Ari: "He's... Unharmed... What just happened?"

Trey: "Riddle used water magic on the fire ball as a shield."
