*Y/n's POV*
And I was right. It was a painful and interesting summer. Draco tried to bring me in my room right after dinner so that father wouldn't have a chance to hurt me, and it worked... sometimes. Uncle Snape came over more often and made excuses to talk to me about the upcoming year; a book he thought I'd like, stuff like that for the purpose of my father can't bring me into his study. With all that being said, there were still many days when my father abused me and Draco knowing that would be in my room to help me with the potions. However, even though it still hurt, it hurt a lot less than it did last summer.
Today Uncle Snape was coming over for dinner and said that he had a surprise for me, so I was excited for that. I assumed Draco already knew because before he got here Draco came into my room.
"You excited?"
"Do you know what the surprise is?"
"Actually, I do," he plopped on my bed, "he actually just owled me and told me to tell you to pack stuff, enough for the next couple weeks,"
"Whyy?" I trailed the y.
"I'm not telling-" Draco started before I realized something, "wait, we leave for Hogwarts in two weeks,"
"Yup," Draco grinned before walking out of my dorm leaving me with many questions but nonetheless, I packed clothes for two weeks just like my brother told me to.
Right as I was zipping up my bag Uncle Snape walked into my room, "I see Draco told you to pack,"
"Yeah, even though I have no idea why," I chuckled.
He closed the door, "Dumbledore thought it'd be a good idea for you to stay a week with me to get away from here,"
"Really?" I smiled and he nodded, "thank you!" I hugged him.
I'm the only person who Uncle Snape allows to hug him and usually it's if no one is around.
"Wait, you said a week, what about the other?"
"You'll see,"
"What about my stuff for Hogwarts?"
"I'll pack it and bring it to the platform," Draco walked into the room.
"Thanks, Dray," I hugged him.

After an interesting supper Uncle Snape quickly apparated me and him to his house before my father could take me away. Believe it or not he already has a room for me from how much I stayed there when I was little. I set my bag down in that room until I found a moving picture of Draco and I that I had in there. Years ago, Uncle Snape was watching us one day and we had fallen asleep on the couch together, he had taken a picture of us, and I had it in that room. I missed those days but I'm glad Draco hasn't pushed me out and became cold to me like he is to everyone at Hogwarts, and I'm still holding on to the hope that he won't do that over the years to come.
We didn't go to the world cup for two reasons. One being neither of us cared that much about it; 2 I did not want to see my father and he didn't want me to cross his path either.

A week later Uncle Snape had to get to Hogwarts to prepare for the school year, but I couldn't go with him, and I knew I wasn't going back home.
"Where am I going for the next week?"
"Grab your bag and come here,"
I grabbed my bag from my room and held onto it with one hand and his arm with my other and he apparated us to a sight that wasn't familiar, but I had a feeling I knew what it was.
