Y/n was an orphan, adopted into the Omatikaya clan but always somewhat felt like an outsider. She was Raised by the sully ever since she was 7 years old, however she had never fully felt a part of the Sully family, and her interactions with Neteyam were strained at best. They were both competitive, both headstrong, and both wary of each other.

While Y/N had trained hard to prove herself to the clan, Neteyam often viewed her as reckless, always pushing the boundaries and endangering others. Y/N saw him as arrogant, a rule-follower with little imagination, and also a "daddy's mighty warrior".

They were enemies in all but name, constantly butting heads during training sessions, hunting trips, and even in the mundane day-to-day of life in the forest. Everything they did was a competition.

Pov you
You stood at the edge of the cliff, overlooking the bioluminescent forest of Pandora. The world beneath you was alive with light, each plant glowing faintly like a living constellation, a part of Eywa's vast, interconnected web.Jake Sully, had once told you about how, as a human, he'd been struck speechless by the sight of it. As you Wait for the war party to start.

Last year the sky people came back, destroying and during everything insight, it broke the Nàvis Hearst to see their beloved home being destroyed. So The village had movi into the hallelujah mountains to seek a little bit more protection, and build camps. Many had lost someone important to them.

Time skip* your pov*

The air was thick with tension as Neteyam, Lo'ak, myself and the war party flew silently on their ikrans. Above, the clouds, as an undercover when they hit the sky people. High in the sky, Jake and Neytiri led the way, their ikrans cutting through the air like shadows. Behind them, the other warriors followed, poised and ready for the raid.

The train snaked through the valley below, its armored carriages rumbling over the tracks. The supply convoy was heavily guarded, but not heavily enough.

I flew slightly behind Neteyam, my hands gripping the reins of my ikran tightly. I had barely spoken to him the entire flight. My partnership with him had been forced, a matter of strategy and survival, not choice, especially in this case. Neteyam felt my presence but he kept his focus ahead, trying to ignore the knot of frustration he always felt around you. You both were skilled, but both of your personalities clashed like fire and ice.

Lo'ak, riding a little further to the left, could sense the tension between his brother and me. He flashed a grin, trying to lighten the mood, though he knew Neteyam was as serious as ever.

"You guys ready for this?" Lo'ak called out, his voice barely carrying over the sound of the wind. "This one's gonna be huge."

Neteyam shot him a glance. "Just stick to the plan, Lo'ak. No improvising." His voice was sharp, his jaw clenched in that way it always did when he was worried his younger brother would act recklessly.

Lo'ak snorted. "When do I ever not stick to the plan?"

Neteyam didn't even dignify that with a response. Instead, he looked ahead, keeping his focus on the target. They were almost there.

"Don't screw this up, Lo'ak. We're not saving you this time," i muttered, your voice cold as you glared in his direction. I hadn't forgotten the last mission when Lo'ak's overconfidence nearly got you guys killed. Neteyam glanced back at you, irritation flickering across his face.

"You're one to talk," Neteyam snapped, eyes narrowed. "Just follow orders for once, and this will go smoothly."

Your jaw tightened. "I always follow orders, when they make sense," she shot back, clearly annoyed. Her temper flared around him, but she kept herself in check, not wanting to make a scene in front of the others.

Lo'ak chuckled under his breath, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth. "Well, this is gonna be fun."

"Stay focused," came Jake's voice over the comms, cutting through their argument. The tone was all business. "We're moving in."

Below, the train was almost in position. The explosives the Na'vi had planted on the tracks would go off in a matter of moments. The war party needed to be ready to strike at the guards and secure the wreckage before the humans could retaliate.

As they circled in the sky, the train rolled closer, unaware of the trap it was heading into. The Na'vi warriors flew in tight formation, the ikrans diving lower, getting into position.

Neteyam's heart pounded as he signaled the others. "Hold steady," he said quietly. This was the moment they had planned for.

Then, with a thunderous roar, the ground erupted. Flames shot into the sky as the explosives went off, sending the front of the train careening off the tracks. Carriages flipped, metal groaned and twisted, and in seconds, the once-mighty train was reduced to a smoldering wreck.

"Go!" Jake's voice commanded. The war party dove as one, their ikrans plummeting toward the wreckage, arrows already drawn and ready to fly.

Neteyam glanced back at Lo'ak, giving him a warning look. "No stupid moves. We hit fast and get out."

"Relax, I've got this," Lo'ak replied, clearly pumped with adrenaline.

You were already aiming your bow, eyes locked on the human soldiers scrambling in the chaos below. "Let's get this over with."

Loud celebrations could be heard below from the Navis , as they open the door of the train, to take any weapons that can help them in the near future.

"Guys we should go down there!" Loák yells, as he watches the action down below and is excited to also be in action.

"Loák no, Jake told us to stay up here to be watchers and keep an look eye, for any threats" i yell back to the dumb one.

"Yeah I agree with y/n on this one, plus dad will skin us!" Neteyam yelled back, surprising you that he even agreed to you, but let's be honest this was a dangerous situation, so you understand why he agree with you.

"Come on don't be a wuss" loák yelled back to tempt us, as he flew down landing near the train.
"Loák get back here you-" Neteyem yelled in frustration as his little brother did not obey orders. He looks back at you "I'm going down there with him to make sure his fine , please keep an look out"

"Wai-" I were cut short as he did not wait for my reasons as he went down to watch over his brother. I was forced to keep an eye out.

While scouting out danger, I will look at the two brothers to make sure they are fine, even tho you would not admit you was scared for their safety. I heard a loud sound coming from the mountains, and that's when I saw the enemies flying machine coming this way.

I imminently push down the bottom and called in "devil dog , we got enemies in the air, heading straight to us!"

"Everybody takes ove-" a large boom 💥, was realised close to the train. This made me worried, so you took action into your own hands and fair an arrow towards the air craft, as you did so the air craft crash landing dangerously close to the brothers.

Another Doom hit where Neteyam and loák were, you let out a scream as you saw both of the brothers fly in different directions.

As there was another explosion but this one was taken down by Neytiri. I immediately order my ikran to go down where i last saw the brothers.
"Loák, neteyam where are you!" You yelled. My heart pounding rapidly in my chest as i look around for them.

" Y/n I'm over here!" Yelled loák, i ran towards him hugging him and looking for any injuries, i saw that he was mostly ok , i started looking for neteyam but loák grabbed your wrist "Dad got him, his fine , let's go now! " Yelled loák.

We Both called for our ikrans and jumped on them, and immediately headed back home. As I were flying next to Jake , I was relieved that Neteyem looked a little bit fine and a breath I was holding left my lips, I had a urge to look at Neteyam, to actually make sure he was ok as I looked over at him what i didn't expect was his eyes already on me.
