I woke up on the beach again, the first rays of the sun slowly creeping over the horizon. The soft, fading sound of waves crashing against the shore filled the air, and the unmistakable scent of saltwater and the ocean breeze washed over me. As I took a deep breath, I felt a warmth underneath my head, something gently around my waist . A soft presence nestled in the crook of my neck, and I couldn't help but smile as the memories of the previous night came rushing back.

Neteyam and I had finally confessed our feelings for each other. A sense of déjà vu washed over me. When I look up, there he was, sleeping peacefully beside me, my head resting on his chest. I could hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat, calming and reassuring. My hand lay gently on his abdomen and chest, and without thinking, I began tracing the lines of his defined muscles with my finger.

When I looked up, my eyes widened as I noticed one of Neteyam's golden eyes peeking at me, a playful smirk curling on his lips. My cheeks flushed with warmth, caught in my embarrassment.

"Good morning, y/n," he greeted, his voice deep, low, and husky from just waking up.

"Good morning," I replied softly, trying to sit up, but Neteyam pulled me back down, hugging me even tighter. He leaned in, pressing a soft kiss to my lips. I chuckled, not expecting the sudden affection.

"Cuddly this morning, are we, Neteyam?" I teased. But then, reality struck as I glanced around. "Neteyam, we need to head back before your parents wake up," I urged him gently, though a part of me didn't want the moment to end.

He groaned, clearly not eager to leave. "Do we really have to go?"

"Yes," I giggled, "unless you want to have that talk with them again."

"Fine, fine. I'm up," he grumbled, stretching his long limbs. As I stood beside him, he gave me another kiss, making my heart flutter.

We began walking back to the pod, hand in hand. Before we entered, I peeked inside, making sure everyone was still asleep. When I turned back to Neteyam, I caught him staring at something, his gaze fixed.

"We can go in now, no one's up yet," I whispered. "And stop staring at my ass" I added with a grin.

He only smirked mischievously but said nothing as we quietly slipped back into the sleeping area. We lay down, pretending to rest, waiting for Jake and Neytiri to wake up. It wasn't long before I heard them stirring, starting their morning routine and preparing breakfast. Normally, I would wake up after them, so I decided to keep up the act.

"Good morning," I mumbled in a soft, sleepy voice, pretending to just wake up.

Jake and Neytiri smiled warmly at me, saying "Good morning" in unison. I went over to Neytiri, offering to help with breakfast. As I stole a glance at Neteyam, I noticed he was still pretending to see, his chest rising and falling rhythmically.

"Y/n, my dear," Neytiri said kindly, "could you wake the others for breakfast?"

"Of course," I replied, standing up and making my way to Tuk first. "Morning, Tuk. Breakfast is ready," I said softly.

"Do I have to get up?" she groaned, still half asleep.

"Yes, unless you want Lo'ak to eat all of your breakfast," I teased, grinning at her.
