Bakugo's Pov:
I open my eyes. Everything is so bright and silent except for the ringing in my ears. Where the hell am I? I try to pull myself up off what felt like a bed only to wince in pain. Suddenly some lady who looks to be a nurse appears over me. Damn she scared me. I couldn't hear her coming with this stupid ringing in my ears. I reach up for my ears to try and stop that dreadful ringing and they're covered with a bandage..? The nurse is looking at me sympathetically. I hate that look. I'm not weak. So why is she looking at me like that?
"Why the hel-" I stop mid sentence. Why can't I hear myself? The ringing is loud but not loud enough to drown out my own voice.
The nurse turns twords the door, her lips are moving but I can't hear her talking either. I can't... why can't I... Although I can't hear it my breath is completely uneven. The nurse heard this and turns back to me she's trying to calm me down. Or I assume that's what she's doing, I can't hear her. I can't hear anything. The realization hits me. I can't hear anything... I'm shaking now. I can feel that. A doctor rushes into the hospital room I'm in. And the next thing I know the world is going black.
