The night felt thick with tension as I paced the living room, waiting for Jungkook's father to arrive. The atmosphere was electric, and my anger simmered just beneath the surface. I wanted to confront him about everything—the lies, the betrayal. I was still reeling from the confrontation with Jungkook earlier, and now, the thought of facing his father only fueled my rage.

When he finally stepped through the door, I couldn't hold back. "You think you can just walk in here like nothing's wrong?" I shouted, my voice echoing in the silence. "You're just as much to blame for this mess as Jungkook is!"

He smirked, unfazed. "You don't understand how this world works, little girl."

"Don't call me that!" I snapped, my heart racing. "You think I'm afraid of you? You're just a coward hiding behind your son's reputation!"

Before he could respond, the room erupted into chaos. The door burst open, and a group of Zalgo's guards flooded in, guns drawn. My stomach dropped as they began shouting orders, their presence suffocating.

"Get down!" Jungkook yelled, shoving me to the floor just as bullets began to fly. I could barely process the sounds of gunfire and the shouts around me. The world felt like it was spiraling out of control.

We fought back, chaos erupting as Jungkook and his father defended us. Blood splattered against the walls, and the smell of gunpowder filled the air. I was terrified, adrenaline coursing through my veins, but I couldn't let fear paralyze me. I grabbed a nearby weapon, my hands shaking but determined.

But we were outnumbered. Zalgo's guards swarmed, and before I knew it, they had us pinned to the ground, guns aimed at our heads.

"Look who we have here," Zalgo sneered, stepping forward, his eyes gleaming with malice. "The prodigal son and his little accomplice."

"Get away from us!" Jungkook growled, trying to struggle against the guards' hold, but they tightened their grip.

Zalgo's gaze turned icy as he focused on Jungkook. "Your father and you have been a thorn in my side for too long. It's time for a reckoning. After all, he was the one who killed your mother."

My heart stopped. The room felt like it was closing in. "What are you talking about?" I whispered, my voice trembling.

"Now, I'm going to finish what he started," Zalgo continued, a sadistic grin spreading across his face. "And I'll start with your father, Jungkook."

In a swift, brutal motion, Zalgo pulled the trigger. The gunshot rang out, and Jungkook's father fell to the ground, blood pooling around him. "No!" I screamed, disbelief washing over me. I couldn't comprehend what I'd just witnessed. The world tilted on its axis, and I felt as if I was falling into an abyss.

Jungkook's face went pale, his expression morphing from shock to pure rage. He lunged against the guards holding him, but they held him back. "You bastard!" he roared, fury and heartbreak crashing together in his voice.

Zalgo turned to me, his gaze chilling. "Thanks for cooperating, Y/N," he said mockingly. I felt sick, my heart racing as his words sunk in. This was all a game to him.

"After Y/N found out you killed her father, she came to me and helped bring you down," Zalgo taunted. "But then she stopped—unfortunate for you, Jungkook."

I was too stunned to respond, my heart pounding as the reality of Zalgo's words sank in. My father's face—what had I done? I was caught between loyalty and betrayal, a storm of emotions churning within me.
