Somehow Wei Wuxian understood why Lan Zhan's soul mark was not a lotus, after all he was never truly happy in the Jiang Sect. He never felt like it was his home which was why he had always refused to wear their robes. He sighed as he stared at the words on the man's porcelain wrist. 'Master of Yin' His eyes widen at his tittle, he was expecting Yiling Laozu to be written there but this? Before he can continue to study the mark, his gaze fell on the boy behind Lan Wangji.

"Eh? Lan Zhan, who is this handsome young man?" Wei Wuxian asked curiously as he stared at Sizhui with bright eyes. "I feel like I've seen him somewhere before. Lan Zhan, who is he?"

Lan Wangji turned and stared at his son before looking down. He then lifted his eyes to look at the man next to him. "Our son."

That made Wei Wuxian freeze, his eyes widen and he gaped. "Ahh!" He scratched the back of his head in confusion. 'Son? When did Lan Zhan and I have a son? Surely I'd remember if I ever had a child with Lan Zhan. My memory is bad but not that bad that I'd forget such a huge thing.'

"Lan Zhan, my memory is bad but not that bad that I'd forget we had a son together. Moreover, we are both men, how can we have a child? We never had that kind of relationship before. The only child I took in as my son was Wen Yuan but he was left alone in the Burial Mounds. He couldn't have survived unless someone found him."

While the latter was trying to make sense of the situation father and son were staring at him with different emotions. Hanguang Jun was lost in his lover, he was staring at him fondly while Lan Sizhui was overwhelmed. The boy finally stepped forward to introduce himself. He bowed respectfully yet elegantly, "Lan Yuan, courtesy name, Lan Sizhui greets Senior Wei."

Wei Wuxian froze, he stared at the young man in disbelief, he knew the moment the boy mentioned his birth name who he was. His eyes teared up, he could not believe his eyes right now. The boy he had taken in as his own son was standing right in front of him all grown up when he shouldn't be alive even. Back then when the Wen remnants were all killed and a siege was led against him, Wei Wuxian had hidden Wen Yuan behind a tree in the Burial Mounds with the hope of returning with the ashes of the boy's family.

However, Wei Wuxian ended up dying there, he never returned so he thought that his little A'Yuan had starved to death in that place. Unexpectedly, his son was saved by his soulmate. If Wei Wuxian had any doubt of Lan Wangji's love for him then it disappeared the second he saw his son.

"A'Yuan. My little Radish is alive." The man whispered in a chocked voice, his eyes filled with unshed tears. "Lan Zhan, you saved him."

"Mn." The second Jade could only hum in agreement as his own chest tightened at the sight of his overwhelmed soulmate.

That was all the confirmation the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation needed before he pulled his son into a tight hug. Lan Sizhui was startled for a moment but then warmth and security covered his body. He hugged the man back with the same intensity, his own arms tightened around the older, he buried his face in the man's black robes. Wei Wuxian clutched the young boy close, the thought that his little Radish had perished back then had shattered him. He could not bear it especially after losing all those close to him. "My little Radish. You have grown up so much and I'm so proud of you."

"Mn. A'Die has raised me well. It is good to finally meet you, Senior Wei." The boy replied calmly.

"Ah? A'Yuan, when you were young, you always used to tag behind me yelling 'Xian Gege, Xian Gege' all the time. Why has it become Senior Wei now? Back then you used to cling to Lan Zhan's leg and call him 'Rich Gege'. Now he is your precious A'Die but shouldn't I be your father too since I am Lan Zhan's soulmate?" The man teased with a raised eye brow.

Lan Sizhui blushed and averted his gaze not daring to look at the man. He knew that the Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation was teasing him because of the mischievous smile he had on his face "It is not like that. Actually, when A'Die found me at the Burial Mounds back then, I suffered from a severe fever and was admitted to the infirmary. Because of that I lost my memories so I don't remember much about my time in the Burial Mounds." The boy bowed with shame.

The latter's smile dropped and his eyes was filled with concern as well as sadness. "A'Yuan, don't blame yourself for what happened. I shouldn't have left you alone in that place. It is all my fault..."

"Not Wei Ying's fault." Lan Wangji cut him off sternly.

The Yiling Laozu widened his eyes at the man's tone. "Lan Zhan, don't be angry."

"Wei Ying must not blame himself." The Second Jade told him firmly.

Before Wei Wuxian got a chance to argue with his lover, Lan Sizhui decided to intervene. "A'Die is right, Baba. You were only trying to protect me. If it weren't for you hiding me then I might not be here today so it is not your fault."

Unable to argue anymore, Wei Wuxian finally gave up. Besides, how can he have the energy to argue when his son had just addressed him so lovingly for the first time? Anyways he can not win against Lan Wangji's stubbornness and his son's adorableness. 'Aiya! Will I ever be able to win against these two? A'Yuan is really Lan Zhan's son. The brat even adopted his stubbornness and etiquettes.' He sighed at his thoughts as he studied the two silently. "Ok. I won't blame myself anymore. Lan Zhan, I'm hungry, did you bring me some food?"

Golden eyes clashed with silver ones. "Mn."

*************************

Lan Wangji sat silently watching the man he loved most eating the Lan Sect's bland meals with glee. He looked so happy and content as if he was eating the best meal in the world. If the Second Young Master of Gusu didn't know any better, he would have thought that Wei Wuxian loved bland food but that was not the case. He knows well that his Wei Ying loves spicy food the most, when the latter had been studying at Cloud Recesses years ago, he had often complained about the lack of spices in the food. At times his Shijie would go to the kitchen and prepare his favourite pork rib lotus root soup.

Another thing that the Second Jade noticed was the fact that since Wei Ying got back he had not asked for any jar of alcohol, not even once. Sixteen years ago, the man in front of him used to drink jars and jars of alcohol everyday. He had a high tolerance of alcohol in their generation.
