Peggy's POV
Me and my roommates have been getting along well. I think me and Theodosia are like, friends but also really competitive, but Maria is probably my best friend. Is it okay to call her that? Well, I've known her for like only 2 days but still. Today is Sunday; around 6pm, actually. As I sit on my bed, I decide to pull my phone out and text Eliza.
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Hihihihihihi
Sis Eliza💙: ?
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Sooo hows life?
Sis Eliza💙: Good..?
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Nice!! who are your roommates? Mine are these two girls called Theodosia and Maria!
Sis Eliza💙: Oh nice! My roommates are Angelica and this girl called Adrienne!
ItsyagurlPEGGY: 2 A names LOL, and lucky u got Angie
Sis Eliza💙: What?
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Ur roommates are Angelica and Adrienne, they both start w/ A!
Sis Eliza💙: Oh yeah, that's funny.
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Ikr??
Sis Eliza💙: Okay well, I gtg now
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Oh kk. bai!
Read, 6:03PM.
I sit up from my bed and I suddenly hear a rapid knocking on the door. I slide off of my bed and open my bedroom door to see my roommate, Maria, bruised, with scratches, and crying. "Maria! Who did this to you?" I gasped. "N-no one..." Maria mumbled, walking inside. "Nonsense!" I spouted. That was a total lie.
"I went to you because Theodosia is somewhere hanging out with her other friends, I think." Maria spoke. "Who did this to you?" I asked again, headed to the closet to see if I had a band aid. "..okay, f-fine, I'll tell you, but you have to promise to tell NOBODY. Not even Theodosia." I nod quickly.
"Itwasmyboyfriend!" Maria burst out quickly. "..who? Sorry, can you repeat that again?" I asked. "My boyfriend." I gasped. I didn't know Maria had a boyfriend, and if he's treating her this badly, she should DUMP that basta- "DUMP that b word!" I shouted. "But then he said he'll do worse and find my family...." "Oh, no, sweetie, he can't do that. You have to call 911..."
"But I have no evidence against him! In court, he's sure to win!" Maria sighed. "Then how about I fix you up, we watch a movie, and then next time he wants to be near you or something, make sure you are recording at the very least an audio recording." I suggested. Maria nodded.

The movie was good. In the middle of it, Theodosia came and watched it with us so that was also fun. During the credits, we were about to click off the of movie, my phone buzzed. A text from Angelica.
Sis Angie❤️: We are going to the park in 30 mins be ready in 10
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Wait wha?
Sis Angie❤️: U, me, Eliza, and the Hamilsquad r going to the park in 30 mins
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Who is the Hamilsquad?
Sis Angie❤️: Eliza's bf's friend group, get ready lol
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Angie won't that be at like 8:00PM?
Sis Angie❤️: Well the Hamilsquad need more friends so get ready :/ bring ur roommates too
ItsyagurlPEGGY: Uh kk, cya in 10 then ig.
I set down my phone and quickly speak. "Apparently we all are going to a park in 10 minutes." My 2 roommates have completely different reactions. Theodosia, being the chaos-lover she is, instantly is excited. "YESS! I'm down." Maria, however, seems reluctant. "With who..?" "My sisters and my sister Eliza's boyfriends' friend group."
"I think I'll stay home.. but I hope you and Theodosia have fun!" Maria answers. "Aw, okay." I pout. I quickly rush into my bedroom and search through my clothing.. I choose a slightly oversized hoodie that's yellow with a cute little flower and bumblebee on it, along with light blue jean shorts.
I usually don't wear makeup, and I certainly can't apply lipstick on and do my hair correctly in only 10 minutes, so I just take the time to brush my hair and make it look slightly better than usual, before heading out. Theodosia apparently took even quicker than me, and she's wearing a white short sleeve top with a green frog design and long, dark blue navy jeans.
"Let's go!" I say, smiling. I open the door. This is going to be fun.
