God, Carly's wedding was a complete catastrophe. I knew something bad was going to happen from the beginning and what none of us expected was that three people would turn up to contest it. I wanted so badly to contest it because he was manipulating her into staying with him. It was clear she had no love for him. We had spoken several times before the wedding and all she talked about was Kyler and Jonathan and how she'd wished she'd done things differently instead of running away she should have faced the music and they would have fought Ethan head-on instead she was the coward who thought it was best to leave them and not tell them shit. She was a complete mess the same as she was when she found out she was pregnant.

Ethan had no idea she had told me before they came to our house to tell us the good news, wheel it was good news to him. I put on a face and a fake smile as we congratulated both of them. I had tried to talk her into doing what she knew was best and get the fuck out. But she told me. Ethan already knew she was carrying his child. He had insisted on going to the hospital with her. She couldn't get out of it even if she wanted to. He knew too much and he was making sure that she didn't do something stupid. He was a controlling asshole.

I begged her to reconsider again at the wedding but she stuck to her guns. I was the only one who knew why she was marrying him. Because of the baby she didn't love him he had bullied her into a relationship she didn't want through his manipulation. Now he had done it again not once but twice. First, he somehow managed to convince her to keep the baby and secondly, getting married so they could play happy families.

All she could do was sit back and do as he said because that's how terrified of him she was. She needed to get out of their toxic relationship cause that's why it was and it certainly wouldn't get any better as the years went on. I was lucky to find my soul mate. Caspian was the best man I had ever met. He was generous, loving and understanding. We had been trying forever to get pregnant but we had failed. We discussed it with the doctors they had mentioned IVF but I wasn't taken on the idea so when we got home and talked about our options the only one that stood out to me was letting a third in so they could help me reproduce Caspian wasn't too keen on the idea especially when I told him who I wanted to be the third but in the end, he agreed because he loved me.

Conrad

"Well, that was some wedding Hugh?" Cas asked

"Damn straight. I never expected Carly's ex to turn up, let alone her two brothers. I wonder what's going on there." I replied

"Well I'm not sure why Aiden and Liam were there, but from what Kaden had said he and Carly had history."

I nodded Caspian had met all three of them from one time to another so I'm not surprised he even knows all of their names.

I remember Kaden from camp that one year the year I returned from the army. He was standing in for Carly. He had been there a few weeks as I understood it. And I also remember a dark-haired boy trying to gain his attention, Christopher Mcalaghan. Damon's younger brother, their fight was iconic. I'm not sure if they even got to see each other after that cause I know one thing for sure Damon wouldn't let him have anything to do with Kaden cause he was Carly's brother. He still held a grudge to this day even though Ethan had come to terms with his father being a complete ass.

Ethan had married Carly and had invited Damon as they were still friends despite his hate for Carly he refused to even acknowledge the wedding and hoped it would fail. He deserves someone better than Carly but he didn't know Carly like we all did cause he never gave him that chance because he was stuck in the past.

I looked at Star and Caspian. I was still in a state of shock that they even invited me into their home let alone asked me to help them conceive a baby the way I wanted to. I still have to pinch myself. To make sure that I'm not dreaming. I know Caspian doesn't care for me that much but Star and I are friends and I am the only one she trusts for this and I'm elated at the chance to help her however I can. I love her with all my heart though I know hers belongs to Caspian.

Caspian

The wedding wasn't what I thought it would be. I expected smiling faces but we didn't get that. Carly doesn't seem happy at all like she didn't want to be at her own wedding like it was forced to please him. I hope and pray to god she didn't do all of this for his benefit. He doesn't deserve it after everything he did. He split up a perfect triad, so they had their ups and downs but they were getting back on track Carly seemed so happy when she returned from the course Ethan had got her into Jonathan and Kyler were so proud of her and her accomplishments.

She had even talked about leaving Ehtan's centre and going it alone. We hadn't heard much since, as she had spit up with Jonathan and Kyler. She had told Star she had opened her own practice and it was situated around there or four miles away and it was doing great. That's the last I heard of anything until they both came over and told us they were getting married. We both knew she was pregnant by this point as Ethan had made it his mission to bring Carly over and brag about it.

We lay on the bed in Star and I's room with Conrad. We've come a

a long way in the past six months. I never expected us to have trouble conceiving but we are. We talked to the specialist about all of our options but Star didn't feel right about any of them. We talked long and hard about our next steps. We finally came to the decision that it was better to get someone we both trusted to help us with this predicament. I wasn't over-excited when Star told me who she had in mind but here we are four months later.

I never wanted Conrad to be the one who helped us out cause I know how he feels about my wife but I have to put that shit behind me so we can continue this. He's proven to be an Alice and a brother I never had in the past months when Star was going off on one and I had no clue what to do. We've come closer in the last couple of months and I'm glad he's around even if it means sharing my wife with him.

"What's he going to think when he finds out about us?" Conrad asks curiously.

Good question, What would he think if he knew? We all know he won't be happy about it according to what Star had said he had called it disgusting and a relationship should only be two people not three.

"Well cross that bridge when it comes to it." I say knowing that one day it will come up.

Conrad nods and accepts my answer.

We've been in the room for over an hour now laying in the bed with Star in between us. Conrad will be retiring to his room tonight so no one gets suspicious of the three of us walking out in the morning together.

We've been drinking all day apart from Star. We've got a big secret asn until we all know it's safe we aren't saying shit.
