There's a knock on the door as Vanessa leaves Laura to her thoughts. Laura knows it's Ross. The party is almost over she is now in her black dress. She had 3 outfit changes tonight based on her party theme.
"Come in" she says with a sigh.
"Hey, can we talk now?" He asks.
Laura nods as Ross sits on the end of the bed next to her.
"I'm proud of you, you're first album!" Ross says Laura chuckles as he sounds like Austin.
"Thank you Ross, it means a lot you're here, how are you?" Laura asks not really knowing what to say.
"Of course I'd be here to support you, I'm good, well as much as I can be with what mom is going through with her cancer. But we're keeping positive. You?" He asks interested especially as she looked upset earlier.
"I'm ok been busy with the album but I need to tell you something" Laura breaths out.
''I agreed to go on a date with Ross back in July and things are going well. I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner I wanted to tell you in person'' Laura says. Tension fills the air as Ross process's what she says. He saw someone on Instagram mention she had a boyfriend the other week when he flipped out but now it's been confirmed by her. He hasn't said anything yet as he avoids her gaze whilst she waits for his answer.
''It's true then, I didn't want to believe it, last week someone posted something online and tagged you and him. Online, I found out on fucking line Laura.'' Ross yells anger seething through him.
"Ross! You went to fucking Europe and left me again for all those random girls!" Laura shouts back as a tear slips down her cheek.
"I was drunk! Ryland made me go out half the time the girls force themselves on me! I didn't think you believed in rumours!" Ross shouts.
"Tell me they're not just rumours!" Laura shouts poking his chest angrily.
"See you can't. You can't even look me in the eye! Ross you live the rock style life. We can't fucking be together no matter how much I may want to be with you. I can't. I can't do it. I can't trust you!" Laura shouts before leaving her room and slamming the door heading downstairs.
"Shit" Ross says with a sigh before leaving the room.
"Laura?" Rydel questions as her best friend appears.
"I'm ok" Laura says with a small smile. She heads back outside to mingle.
A few moments later Ross appears looking angry and heartbroken.
"Ross?" Rydel questions noticing her younger brother appearing down the stairs. Rocky looks at her confused as Rydel shrugs her shoulders.
"I'm fine I'm going home. I'm going to get an Uber or we can all go home now but it's up to you, either way I'm leaving and don't want to talk about it" Ross says as he walks away.
Ellen notices Ross has returned.
"How was it?" She asks him as he steps out into the garden. He catches Laura staring at him in the small crowd that's left and sees the sadness in her eyes before she carries on with her conversation with Vanessa.
"Not good, we had an argument and I think I made it worse. Sorry Ellen, I'm going home" Ross says with a sigh.
"Oh honey I'm sorry, I'll try talk to her later" Ellen says immediately hugging him.
"It's ok, thanks, say bye to everyone for me. My siblings are staying for a bit, I'm getting an Uber" Ross says.
"Ok text me when you're home so I know you're safe. I know you'll text one of your siblings but let me know too sweetheart. I'm sure things will be ok with you to soon you guys just need some time" Ellen gives him a wave and small smile before walking away.
Ross finally arrives home a few moments later and heads straight to his room.
He pulls out his phone to text Ellen.

Ross sighs thinking with a smile as he loves how Ellen still treats him like a son.

He quickly finds Laura's contact.

Laura hears her phone ping as she takes off her make up. The party is over Ryland, Rocky and Rydel left an hour ago. Rydel said she would text her to check Ross is ok, so quickly assuming it's her she checks her phone.

She sighs as she reads it. Her phone pings again with a text from Rydel.

We argued about what happened between us. He's pissed I didn't tell him I got a boyfriend, which I guess I should have told him I just didn't know how and knew he'd be pissed. I'm angry about the shit he did in Europe and yeah. I'm pissed and upset but I'll be fine. We were almost a couple in New York. So things have been weird between us.
