Laura puts on her walk the moon sweatshirt and heads downstairs. It's her movie night with Ross also time for them to finally talk about what happened last week between them. She is wearing her red and green tartan pj bottoms, white socks and grey cami top with her sweatshirt and glasses on.
''Hi Ross'' Laura smiles genuinely up at him as se answers her door.
''Hey Laur'' He says embracing her in a tight hug wrapping one arm around her as he holds a grocery bag, gift bag and flowers in the other.
They both check each other out without realising. He is wearing his purple The Driver Era t shirt and blacks jeans with his classic black converses. She can't deny it he looks good.
''Um come in'' she says blushing after realising how long they had been staring at each other.
He follows her into the kitchen.
''Drink/, Wine'' Laura asks as she grabs a bottle of red from the cupboard, they both enjoy red wine especially on their movie nights.
''Of course what else'' Ross says with chuckle taking the glass she's poured for him.
''Thank you for the flowers Ross they're beautiful'' she smiles as she puts them in water.
''Of course, thought it might start on my apology for you, I guess I was a bit of a jealous prick, you made the right decision not being with me, oh also I've got more'' He says opening the bag in front of him that he's placed on the island counter.
''Gogurt!'' Laura exclaims excitedly as she looks in the bag.
''Yeah you're favourite, also a early birthday present'' he says handing her the gift bag.
''Ross'' she says smiling at him softly.
''It's a new mini ipad as I know you were looking to update it but hadn't had time and weren't bothered too much since you got an Iphone finally, it's also like a congrats, birthday and apology present in one, also just a book of puns in there too'' Ross smiles at her, she immediatly wraps her arms around his neck he wraps his around her waist tightly
"Ross you didn't have to this is too much I can't accept this!''
''Laura, you know I can afford it and plus it's part of my apology I've been a shit best friend lately so if you even still call me you're best friend" Ross says with a sigh.
"It's ok I'd be jealous too, but I just thought things were finally right with us and then it was like you'd forgotten about me because I wasn't there, but we'll go to the lounge and talk about this properly'' Laura pauses as she hugs him again wrapping her arms around his torso as his wrap around her shoulders.
"Thank you so much, I guess you're still my best friend no matter what, we'll fix this eventually come on" Laura says unwrapping herself from him.
"Shall we make some pop corn?" Ross questions as Laura grabs there glasses of wine and the bottle placing them on her coffee table in the lounge. Ross takes his place on her corner sofa and sits in the corner as he waits for Laura.
"Yeah I'll make some now you pick a movie" Laura says with a smile as the feeling of nostalgia takes over from all the previous movie nights they've had over the years. It's been awhile since they had one.
A few moments later the pop corn is made and Laura sits down next to Ross on the other side of the sofa.
"Come closer" Ross says rolling his eyes at the distance she has created between them.
