He smiles knowing it's her when his phone pings, he's been busy working in the studio with Rocky. Yes even on his birthday. He didn't mind since he loves music. He's always inspired to write and record.
Smiling he sees her name light up.

Him and Laura are finally together. Last week. It's been a week and he's never felt happier. Everything has worked out. She broke up with Hodgkinson a couple weeks ago a few days after her birthday, she explained everything to him though he has a feeling it was coming. Honestly he wasn't feeling their relationship anymore anyway so Hodgkinson was happy to stay friends with Laura instead. It was a mutual break up. Laura then went off to Mexico for some shows and press before going to Malta. Then Lynch picked her up from LAX airport and they started to hang out more again.
Lynch knew they broke up because of him so they didn't rush being together. Laura need a bit of a break and space to so it was nice she went to Mexico and Malta and did some travelling but they missed each other a lot and gave each other space when she was away and didn't contact each other until he said he'd pick her up from the airport. She got back on the 6th December. Ross was busy in the studio but anytime he had free he basically lived at Laura's.
2 weeks later they went on night beach walk last Saturday after giving each other their Christmas presents and then they became unofficial. They're taking things slow as both their hearts are still feeling a bit injured from their break ups. He pretty much over Jaz but is happy to take things slow.
"Laura's here, we ok to be done for the day?" Ross asks his brother.
"Yeah of course, go spend time with your girl dude, it's your birthday after all" Rocky says with a chuckle.
Ross rolls his eyes at his brothers teasing but smiles as leaves Rocky to it.
"Laur!" He breaths out opening the door to her as he immediately wraps his arms around her waist and hers fly around his neck.
He kisses her lips softly and they both sink into the kiss.
"I missed you!" He whispers into her shoulder as he hugs her tightly.
"Missed you more" she says grinning at him.
"Not possible, god we're gonna be so cheesy aren't we?" He questioned her with a smile as he intertwines his hand with hers pulling her inside and shutting the door.
"Of course. We're Raura after all aren't we" Laura says chuckling as she leans up to kiss his cheek. He turns to face her holding both her hands in his as he leans down and kisses her lips again.
"I can get used to this" he says massive smile on his face.
"You guys make me sick! But I'm happy for you" Rocky says chuckling and fake gagging as he walks into the lounge and sees them.
"Oh fuck off Rocky, be happy I'm happy" Ross says rolling his eyes but can't help but smile as that's all he's been able to do since last week.
Laura is honestly the best thing that's ever happened to him. He lights up her world and make every day better even if that sounds cheesy it's true.
"So you guys official yet?" Rocky asks curiously.
"Nah, just best friends with benefits I guess" Ross says chuckling as he watches Laura's face flush red in embarrassment at the word benefits. She does not need Rocky knowing about their sex life even though it's been great or awesome in Ross' words.
