A New Beginning :
The early days of sunlight gently filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the room.
Minjeong stirred, her body comfortably nestled against Jimin's. The soft cotton sheets clung to their bare skin, and the lingering warmth of the previous nights intimacy filled the quiet space around them. The quiet hum of the city below was a distant murmur, a stark contrast to the serenity inside Minjeong's apartment.Jimin's fingers lazily combed through Minjeong's tousled hair, her touch soft and lingering. Minjeong's eyes fluttered open, greeted by the sight of Jimin's serene face. There was something calming about the way Jimin's eyes shimmered in the morning light, something that made Minjeong feel like everything outside of this moment didn't matter.
"Let's go away," Minjeong whispered, her voice still groggy from sleep.
Jimin raised an eyebrow, a teasing smile playing on her lips, "Go away?" She asked, her tone soft as she continued running her fingers through Minjeong's hair. "Where to, Spidey?"
Minjeong shifted slightly, propping herself up on her elbow to meet Jimin's gaze. "Anywhere," she said earnestly. "Let's leave this city behind. Just you and me. Let's start over...somewhere new, where no one knows us."
Jimin chuckled, her thumb brushing over Minjeong's cheek. "That sounds nice," she mumbled. Her voice had a dreamy quality to it, as though she was imagining it already.
"Is that a yes?" Minjeong asked, her heart pounding with anticipation.
Jimin paused for a moment, her eyes searching Minjeong's face, as though reading the sincerity in her words. "It's a yes," Jimin finally said her smile softening into something more genuine.
Minjeong exhaled in relief, her lips curling into a grin. She leaned down to press a kiss to Jimin's forehead before nestling closer to her again. "Good," she wishpered, her fingers tracing lazy patterns along Jimin's arm. "I'll take care of everything. I'll figure out where we'll go, and how to get us there. You just have to trust me."
Jimin closed her eyes, letting out a contented sigh as Minjeong's warmth enveloped her. "I do trust you, Minjeong," she whispered, her voice barely above a breath. "I can't wait to start our new life together."
"Me too," Minjeong replied softly, the weight of the world lifting off her shoulders at the thought. "All I need is you."
Jimin opened her eyes slightly, looking at Minjeong with a playful gleam. "You're adorable, you know that, Spidey?" She teased, her fingers gently pinching Minjeong's cheek. "Like a little puppy, always wanting to follow me around."
Minjeong scrunched her nose at the comment, feigning offense. "A little puppy?" She echoed, though a smile tugged at her lips.
"Mhmm," Jimin hummed, her thumb caressing Minjeong's cheek now. "A little puppy who's mine. Completely totally, undeniably mine."
Minjeong felt her heart swell at Jimin's words. She loved the possessiveness in Jimin's tone, the way it made her feel needed, wanted, cherished. "I love being yours," she admitted, her voice soft but full of emotion. "More than anything."
Jimin's smile widened as she pulled Minjeong closer, their bodies pressed together under the covers. "Good," Jimin murmured, her lips brushing against Minjeong's ear.
"Becuase you're never getting away from me."Minjeong chuckled, a warm contented sound that vibrated through her chest. "I wouldnt dream of it."
For a few moments, they simply lay there in the quiet, the weight of their decision lingering between them. Minjeong's mind raced with possibilities- where they could go, what their lives could look like far away from here. She could already picture the two of them in some quiet, secluded place, away from the chaos and danger of their current lives. Somewhere peaceful, where they could be free to love each other without fear or judgement.
"Where do you think we'll go?" Jimin asked after a while, her voice pulling Minjeong from her thoughts.
"I don't know yet," Minjeong admitted. "But somewhere far. Somewhere where it's just us. Maybe a small town or a beach house by the ocean."
Jimin's eyes lit up at the mention of the ocean. "I've always wanted to live by the sea," she said softly, hef fingers intertwining with Minjeong's.
"Waking up to the sound of waves crashing...that sounds perfect."Minjeong smiled, imagining Jimin standing on a beach, the wind in her hair, the sunlight on her skin. "Then that's what we'll do," she said with certainty. "I'll find us a place by the sea. Somewhere we can be happy."
Jimin leaned forward, capturing Minjeong's lips in a soft kiss. It was slow, tender and full of unspoken promises. When they pulled away, Jimin rested her forehead against Minjeong's, her eyes closed, a small smile on her lips.
"I love you, Minjeong," Jimin whispered, her voice full of emotion. "I really do."
Minjeong's heart swelled at the words, her chest tightening with the intensity of her feelings. "I love you too, Jimin," she replied, her voice shaky with the weight of the moment. "More than you'll ever know."
Jimin smiled, her fingers brushing against Minjeong's jaw. "Good," she murmured. "Now take me home, Spidey."
Minjeong grinned, pressing a kiss to Jimin's lips once more. "As you wish, my love," she whispered, already imagining the future they were going to have together.
