The Uncertain Future

Exactly 10 minutes had passed, which had only been total silence until April decided to put an end to that awkwardness

-Are you okay Mikey?

The redhead asked in a worried tone, seeing the younger's surprised expression, which changed to a smile

-Of course I'm okay April, why do you ask?

He said with confusion

-Well you've been quiet this last while and-

-It's not normal for me, right?

The younger interrupted, leaving his friend silent without knowing what else to say

-It's just that... April, do you think I'm useless?

The orange banded boy asked with some sadness in his voice but also with curiosity

Without finishing the question, Casey joined in on the conversation between the two of them

April of course went to help the youngest, and Casey ran away from there as fast as possible

Kicking some robots here and there, Mikey and April began to be surrounded by the Krang

Everything was given up for lost until....

-ONE SIDE

Casey Jones shouted, riding in a white van, and at full speed he rammed some Krang robots, after that small act he stopped and opened the door.

Mikey and April, as best they could, got on the three turtles.

Once they were inside, Casey accelerated at full speed, while they left the robots behind, losing sight of them.

The amount of air they hadn't let out had finally been released in a small sigh of relief.

-That was pretty intense, don't you think?

Casey said jokingly, only receiving an angry look from April, but no response from Mikey

Who was moving his older brothers, like a small child trying to wake up his mother, holding back the tears that wanted to come out of his eyes

-April, don't wake up help me

He said in a soft tone of concern looking directly at his friend

She got up somewhat worried about what Mikey had told her, she checked the three of them, giving a sigh of relief because they were still breathing, but she still had a bad feeling, something inside her told her that something was not right and she could confirm that by seeing how a light pink smoke came out of his nose

-Mikey call Rockwell now, Casey go to the Mutanimals' lair as quickly as possible

situation

The road became quite short for mikey
And all he knew, was that his mutant friends took his brothers so they could examine them

Mikey was simply shaking with fear, and the tears which he had been holding back for a while finally came out with intensity feeling quite guilty about what was happening,

April seeing him tried to comfort him saying that everything would be okay,

It took exactly an hour for mikey to calm down enough

and just at that moment, the intelligent monkey came in looking serious approaching mikey standing face to face with him

-And how are you?!!!, a-are you okay?!!!

The orange banded turtle asked worriedly with much concern

-......well......they're fine but...

The genie said without knowing exactly how to finish giving the news, but seeing the faces of Casey, Mikey and April, he took enough courage and with a heavy sigh said

-They were exposed to a gas, luckily it wasn't poisonous, but......somehow it left them in a kind of coma and I don't know when they're going to wake up or if they will.....

He said,

Mikey was frozen by the news trying to assimilate it, everything became silent for him, although the ape continued explaining some things which Mikey didn't hear, for him he simply moved his lips, the only thing he paid attention to were his own thoughts

Now how would he help New York?

What would he say to his sensei?

How had he let this happen?

He thought in a worried and guilty way, since without a doubt everything would become more complicated.
