(Ahsoka pov)

A day after the Inquisitor's defeat, Kanan is still lying in med bay, unconscious. I call Ezra to the kitchen because I want to talk to him. I also want him to eat something, because he hasn't left Kanan's side since we boarded the Ghost yesterday, and he hasn't eaten or slept at all.
Ezra enters the kitchen looking tired. Still, he pastes a small smile on his face. I smile back gently and gesture to the seat beside me. He sits down, and I pass him a plate of food. He hesitates, then his hunger wins and he bites into a Jogan fruit.
"Ezra, so I know you have some questions. For example: How can I possibly be a Jedi when the Empire wiped them all out? Am I right?"
Ezra looks startled, then nods. "Yeah."
"Well, for the Jedi thing, I left as a Padawan. The Jedi thought that I had committed a huge crime, because someone had framed me. A trusted friend betrayed me. But then they realized who the real criminal was, and offered me a chance to come back. I didn't accept, so I survived the Jedi Purge, code-named Order 66. And here I am."
"Is the Inquisitor really dead?" The Padawan asks.
"Yes. But now the Empire will come after us with something stronger. I won't lie to you, Ezra: They are more powerful than us. But we have hope, hope that things will change." (Yes, that is a Hera quote from Vision Of Hope! I am such a Star Wars Rebels nerd. XD -Author @LothalRebelUltraFan)
Ezra nods. "And they will."
(I know! Again!! XD -Author @LothalRebelUltraFan)
"How's Kanan doing?" I ask, changing the subject.
Ezra looks down at his plate. "He hasn't woken up yet. Hera has done everything she can, but we still don't know if he'll survive." A tear slides down his cheek.
I put an arm around his shoulder. "I know. He'll be okay, I promise."
"Though you said that you wouldn't lie to me?" He comments.
"I wouldn't. He really will be okay. Hera is amazing with medical supplies. In the Republic, she would've been either a doctor or a pilot."
Ezra rests his head on my shoulder and begins to cry. I let him, and by just being there, I comfort him. I keep my arm around his shoulder.
Soon Sabine comes rushing in. "You guys! Ezra! Kanan's awake."
