"let's bully him anyways." Oliver suggests

"I agree with Oliver!" Zip smiles.

"you guys suck. Whatever, I'll join." Edward sighs.

ever since Edward confessed, his chest felt a lot lighter. He could talk clearly around Zip. Before he knew it, Zip and Oliver were off. He chased after them.

"imagine having a dead baby girl." Oliver spoke up. Engel looks behind him.

He sighs, "what do you guys want?"

"just reminding your that your pookie is dead." Zip smiles.

"and the fact that I wasn't a part of this, but now I am." Edward chimes in.

Engel just walks away. Edward, Zip, and Oliver look at each other.

"that didn't go well." Zip says.

"you think? He didn't react at all!" Oliver had a look that said what is wrong with him?

"chill, Olive Oil. He's probably done with our shit and depressed about Claire." Edward says.

"that makes sense, but isn't he taking it too seriously?" Zip asks.

"right?" Oliver sighs.

"Oliver, how would you feel if Alice died?" Edward asks.

"sad. I want to have 100,000,000,000,000,000 kids with her first." Oliver answers.

"what the fuck-" Edward and Zip say simultaneously.

***

after school ended cause I'm lazy, Zip and Edward go home together. Oliver was staying with Alice AGAIN. Unfortunately Edward's parents were at a date for their anniversary, so Edward goes with Zip.

"it's a pretty sunset," Zip smiles. "what's prettier? Me or the sunset?" she asks.

"you're prettier. There's nothing that's prettier than you." Edward smiles.

"you're so sweet!" Zip smiles with glee. Then she looks at Edward, "I have a favor, if you don't mind."

"go ahead." Edward agrees.

"reciprocate this, will you?" then, suddenly Zip kisses Edward.

the poor boy was caught by surprise. He didn't know what the hell just happened, but it felt good. That's all he needed to know. Just as Zip asked, he reciprocated the kiss.

the couple stood there like that for a good while. Then, Zip pulls away, "that felt good."

"y-yeah..." Edward says with a red face.

"you look really cute with pink cheeks like that. Let me put makeup on you time to time!" Zip smiles.

"no way!" Edward declines.

"please?"

"nah."

"for a kiss?"

"maybe."

the banter continues, until the two arrived to Zip's house.

"welcome home, dear." Zip's mom says. "is that a friend?"

"yes, this is Edward!" Zip smiles.

"hi..." Edward says.

after an awkward moment, Edward and Zip ho to her room.

"so, where's the little man?" Edward asks.

"in his room taking a nap." Zip chuckles.

"makes sense," Edward nods. "he needs rest to become a real man like me."

Zip laughs. Her laughs were music to his ears. He laughs too. Zip thought his laughs were deep and cool. The two admired each other in a different way.

Edward tugs at Zip's poncho, "aren't you hot in that?"

"this? Sort of?" Zip says. "I never really notice, I barely take it off." Zip states.

"yes, I'm aware. Can you take it off? I don't want you to be uncomfortable." Edwards suggests. What a gentleman. Zip is so lucky EUGHH. (totally not jealous of Zip guys).

"sure. I probably should, haha." Zip then takes off her poncho.

Edward looks at Zip up and down, clearly checking her out. There wasn't much to see, but he won't tell her that.

"Eddie." Zip says.

Eddie? That's new.

"yeah?" Edward asks.

"why were you so scared of telling me you like me earlier?" Zip asks.

Oh my god, was this girl stupid?

"I was scared of you rejecting me." Edward answers.

"why though? What made you think I would reject you?" Zip asks.

"I don't know. I feel like it would get awkward if you didn't like me back, and you're not the type of person to have a crush." Edward explains.

"oh." Zip sighs. "well, next time you're scared of telling me something, don't think twice! Just man up and tell me." Zip didn't necessarily mean that in a rude way. It just came out rude.

"well damn, ouch." Edward jokes. "but yeah. No more secrets."

"promise?" Zip asks.

"promise." Edward replies.

"well it's settled. No more secrets!" Zip declares.

the problem is, is that Edward had one secret, and he didn't know how Zip would take it. How would he tell her that this was a bet, but he still loved her?

it's a real dilemma. He'll just go with the flow for now. Hoping for the best. Praying god that Zip wouldn't find out.

Zip then lays flat on her bed, and pats the spot next to her, indicating that she wanted Edward to lay next to her. Edward does just that. The two rest next to each other.

"you know what?" Zip asks.

"what?" Edward asks.

"I feel like we should hangout together by ourselves time to time. Kind of like this." Zip suggested.

"like a date?" Edward asks.

"oh yeah, like a date." Zip agrees.

"don't worry, that'll definitely happen." Edward smiles.

"okay!" Zip smiles. Then she cuddles with Edward.

Edward puts his arms around her as she clings to him. He held her in a protective manner. The two were so cute together. Luckily, Zip's door was locked, so they had this moment to their selves. No interruptions, or disturbances. Just cuddles.

eventually, Zip fell asleep in Edward's arms. Edward soon passes out as well. The two sleep on her bed, wrapped around each other.

even in his sleep, Edward could smell Zip's perfume. It smelled like vanilla.

Zip, on the other hand, was completely lost in her own world. She doesn't smell, hear, or feel anything in her dreamland.

In Zip's dream, her and Edward were chilling in Alaska. She had the weirdest dreams. The two were both in a cabin in Alaska. Warming up with a fire and each other's body heat.

Edward's dream was more normalized. Him and Zip were at school, and she kissed him in front of all of his friends. It wasn't a bad thing. No, it was actually a very nice dream.

as the two rest in their fantasies, they're both only teens. Both of the dreams could possibly come true at some point in their lives. The only problem was: 1, Alaska was expensive, 2, Zip probably wants to keep the relationship a secret for now. At least, until things settle down.

two delusional teens dreaming about each other. What could ever possibly ruin this peace?
