Somewhere in the Dark Lands, Ventress, Bossk, and Tak took refuge in a rocky place filled with a bunch of volcanic vents that unleashed red steam.

Bossk groaned and moaned in pain as he looked at a huge scratch he'd gotten on his leg from the fight with the three lions. He was pretty sure one of them clawed him in his rear too.

"Poodoo! That lousy Queen Brenda. I won't be able to sit for a week." whined the Trandoshan.

Tak, however, was laughing his head off.

"It's not funny, Tak."

But Tak laughed more hysterically in response.
"Shut up!" Bossk hissed.

When Tak still wouldn't stop laughing, Bossk tackled the Weequay and started wrestling him to the ground... until the two of them were Force-pushed into one of the rock walls.

"Will you knock it off?!" Ventress said angrily.

Both hyenas were seeing stars at that point.

"Well... he started it," said Bossk dizzily, pointing at Tak, who just face-planted onto the floor.

"Look at you two." Ventress huffed. "No wonder we're dangling at the bottom of the food chain.

"Man, I hate dangling." Bossk hissed.

"Yes? If it weren't for those overgrown housecats, and those pesky Jedi, we'd be running things."

"I hate lions! And Jedi."

"So pushy."

"And hairy."

"And stinky."

"And man are they..."

"Ugly!" Ventress and Bossk said together, laughing.

"Oh, surely we lions are not all that bad," said a familiar voice. It was Walter.

Getting kicked out for the night was actually a good thing for him. He didn't let anyone know that alone, Queen Brenda could send him running and screaming like a little girl. His hyena friends would never let him live it down if they knew that. Basically, being kicked out gave him an excuse to sneak over to the Dark Lands without anyone following him.

"Oh, Walter. It's just you." Bossk hissed.

"We were afraid it was someone of a real threat." Ventress remarked.

"Yeah, you know, like Brenda."

Although she'd fought with her husband and a powerful Jedi, out of the three lions who attacked them and out of all the lions in the Pride Lands, the hyenas feared Brenda most of all. She was as fierce as she was beautiful.

"I see." Walter said, not amused.

"Now that's girl power!" Bossk said. "And that's coming from a guy."

"Tell me about it." Ventress said. "I just hear her name, and I shudder."

"Brenda."

Ventress shuddered. "Ooh! Do it again."

"Brenda!" Bossk said again, all too happy.

Ventress shuddered again, and Bossk started to say Brenda's name repeatedly, Tak just rolling on the floor cackling.
