It was the day of their first date; it was already early winter, the sky was covered with dark clouds, and both were well bundled up. To Yunjin, Chaewon looked adorable in her giant scarf that covered half of her face.

She smiled at her, completely enchanted.

-You look so pretty. -she said, while taking her hand. Chaewon smiled shyly and blushed.

Yunjin always told her she was pretty, and each time she succeeded in making those butterflies dance in her stomach and warming her cheeks.

They left the room hand in hand and walked together to the nearest taxi stand, from there, they were taken to the shopping mall.

-The games are on the lowest floor -Yunjin said, entering the place-. We can check the reviews again, are you sure?

Chaewon nodded, smiling.

-Chaechae is really excited to go, it would be really mean of me to cancel at the last moment -she said-. I'll be fine and I'll be close; if you want me, just call me... I already told Chaechae she has to behave.

-Okay, after this, I'll take you to that place you've been wanting to go for dinner. -Yunjin planted a kiss on her cheek; they weren't really saying goodbye since Chaewon would be nearby and could see everything they did, but she wouldn't control anything because Chaechae would be in charge.

Before reaching the games, just seeing the lights from afar made her hear Chaechae's joyful shout, and she smiled tenderly.

-Let's go, let's go, let's go! -Chaechae took her hand and pulled her to the spot. They had to spend a moment buying a card and loading some money for the games; after that, Chaechae immediately led her to a machine where she had to hit some crocodiles popping out of holes as her first entertainment.

They continued with a water-splashing machine, then to another that threw balls at a giant clown's mouth.

Yunjin spoke very little with Chaechae; the girl wanted to make the most of it to earn as many points as possible and trade them for a prize, and she only shouted at Yunjin that she was losing or that she was doing it wrong.

-Yunjinnie! You can't even knock down a pin!

-Chaechae, I'm terrible at any kind of games; I don't do this kind of stuff.

-I'm very disappointed in you; you're a loser.

-Then you do it!

-I can't play bowling!

-Then don't criticize, silly!

There weren't many other people in the place, just a few parents or pairs of kids, but no one paid much attention to them; they spent more than an hour in the games.

In the end, they spent the last of the card's money on a machine that caught candies or other treats, which had a guaranteed prize. Yunjin was responsible for catching all the things Chaechae wanted while the little girl stood next to her, watching while eating some gummy bears she'd gotten.

When they finished, they went to the counter of the venue where the guy showed them their points.

-You have a total of five hundred forty-three points, what would you like?

Yunjin looked at Chaechae, the older girl thought for a moment, surveying the shelves with different signs and their points.

Suddenly her face lit up, and her little eyes shone tenderly, making Yunjin smile.

-That stuffed animal! -she pointed to a bunch of small toy animals-. The kitten.

The guy from the place went to get the kitten, the last one of that kind, yellow and the size of a palm.
