The Conjuring 1,2,3(Drew Thomas ff)

Chapter 7.

Lorraine made her way to Father Kastner's house while Lilian, Drew and Ed tried to find out more.

"There's nothing in these interviews. Her friends barely saw her after she got back from collage." Drew said.

"Jessica?"

"Yup."

"Doesn't that seam strange to you? I mean, we're here," Ed pointed at the map with his reading glasses on. "the Glatzels live here, just 15 minutes away. But Jessica lives 180 miles from here. Why is this one so far away?" Ed said as he pointed out Jessica's location.

"Drew, where did she get her totem?" Lilian asked.

"I just saw something about that. It was in an interview with her parents. It was in a box." Drew said, getting up and rummaging threw the papers. "'She brought it back home in a box from collage'."

"Where'd she go to collage?" Lilian asked.

Drew looked up. "Fairfield."

Ed sighed and grabbed the pin farthest from others and brought it closer to the others.

"Get the map for that area." Lilian said to Drew, he declined and went to grab it.

Later he came back with the map and placed it on the table. Ed sat down next to the two.

"This woman lives in the area."

"Still a lot of ground to cover."

"Yeah, but not a lot of train tracks. Remember Mum's and my vision? We heard a train."

"What time was it? Maybe we can start eliminating some of these."

"Probably close to midnight."

"Then it can't be either of these two. The commuter lines don't run that late. That just leaves this freight line that crosses the river here."

"The river." Ed said, and looked up at Drew and Lilian. "Oh, dear God."

"Fuck..." Lilian, Drew and Ed made their way to Father Kastner's house as quickly as possible.

The three tried to open the sewer but it was locked.  Ed ran and got a hammer. He used the hammer to break the door so the three of them could get in. Lilian, Drew and Ed ran in, but unfortunately their paths separated. Ed met the witch. The witch named Isla blew something into his eye. Ed screamed in pain. And then his mind was foggy.

Meanwhile, Lilian and Drew were running around looking for Lorraine.
"MUM!LORRAINE!" Lilian and Drew called out in turn.

"LILIAN!DREW!" Suddenly the couple heard Lorraine screaming.

The two ran in the direction from which they heard Lorraine.

"Mom!" said Lilian and ran to her mother. "Mum, are you okay?" Lilian asked her mother and hugged her. "Yes. Where is your father? Where is Ed?" asked Lorraine. "I don't know. We were separated," Lilian explained in a panic.

Suddenly Ed appeared. "Dad!" said Lilian and wanted to run to him but Drew stopped her. "Wait, honey, something's wrong. Look at his eyes," said Drew and Lilian noticed. Her father's eyes looked wild.

Suddenly Ed started running towards the three of them, swinging the hammer he was holding in his hand. Lilian, Lorraine and Drew ran away from him. "ED!" screamed Lorraine. "ED, HONEY! IT'S NOT YOU!" she continued to scream as she ran. "DAD!" screamed Lilian. "DAD STOP IT!" screamed Lilian. Drew held his wife's hand tighter and ran faster.

The three arrived at an altar. Ed swung the hammer and almost hit Lilian. Lilian was able to dodge it. "Lilian!" Drew shouted and ran towards his wife. Ed swings the hammer at Drew. Drew dodged and fell to the ground.

Lorraine saw Ed attacking them and screamed "Ed! Stop it! That's not you"!

She caught Ed's attention and backed away towards the altar in the center of the room.

"Remember," Lorraine said, now crying. "Darling, remember."

As Ed was about to hit Lorraine with the hammer, a memory came to his mind. The first meeting of him and Lorraine, their first date, Lilian's birth As Ed was about to hit Lorraine with the hammer, a memory came to mind. Ed came to his senses. He screamed and smashed the altar with the hammer.

Lorraine, Lilian and Drew ran towards Ed and hugged him. Suddenly they heard footsteps.

The clanking of heals were heard approaching. The four looked up, seeing Isla with a knife approaching them.

They stood up and She stopped a few feet away from them and raised the knife.
Drew stood in front of his wife to protect her.
"Your curse is broken." Ed said as he held his wife's hand.

The hand that held the knife started cracking, dropping the knife.

Isla yelled in pain as she tried to stop it. Her arms were pulled behind her and she dropped to her knees.

"You promised a demon a soul."

Her back cracked, making her face her feet. She could hardly breathe from the pain.

"And it can't go back to hell without one." Lilian said, seeing the demon, taking the form of Isla with demonic eyes, approaching the whimpering woman.

"You gave a mortal part of Satan's abilities, you shall pay for this deed." The Damon said and grabbed Isla's neck. The Demon disappeared and Isla's body fell to the ground.

Ed grunted as Drew pulled him out of the sewer entrance.

"Hon... I..." Ed panted, clenching his chest and falling to his knees. "I forgot my pills."

Ed kept panting and looking at his wife. Lorraine reached for her locket, opening it, revealing a pill for Ed.

Lorraine handed him the pill, which he swallowed.

They heard sirens in the distance.

Drew held Lilian in a hug. "After this we'll take a long break" said Drew while looking deep into his wife's eyes. "I'm OK with that" said Lilian gave Drew a deep kiss and laid her head on his chest.

Ed put the cursed object on the shelf in the room in her house and stared at it for a moment. "Dad, come on, the others are waiting," said Lilian at the door. "Yes, I'm coming," answered Ed and left with Lilian after locking the door.

On November 24, 1981, Arne Johnson was convicted on the charge of manslaughter.

Arne served five years.

He married Debbie while in prison.

They are still married to this day.
