The days following her mother's proposal talk felt like a blur to Y/N. She was constantly teetering between guilt and defiance. Her parents' expectations weighed heavily on her, but her heart wasn't in it. Every time the thought of meeting this engineer came up, she felt a knot in her stomach.

Work became her escape. In the buzz of deadlines, tasks, and feedback meetings, she could pretend, at least for a few hours, that her life wasn't on the brink of a major change she wasn't ready for. Yet, every time she sat at her desk, her mind drifted—back to her love for BTS, back to Jungkook. His recent message, "Just keep going," had almost felt like a sign.

That day, as she stared at her computer screen, she received an email that jolted her back to reality. The subject line read: "Exciting Opportunity—Transfer to Seoul."

Her fingers trembled as she clicked it open. It was from Kim Yerin, her Korean colleague, who had transferred back to Seoul a year ago.

Yerin's Email:

_"Hi, Y/N!

I hope you're doing well! I know we haven't spoken in a while, but I wanted to share some exciting news with you. The Seoul office has an opening for a Head Graphic Designer position. I immediately thought of you! You've always been so talented, and I know you'd be perfect for the job.

It's a big change, moving to another country and all, but I think it could be an incredible opportunity for you. I also know you're a big BTS fan, so living here would be a dream, right? 😊

Let me know if you're interested. I'd be happy to recommend you and help you through the application process.

Looking forward to hearing from you!_

Best,
Yerin"

Y/N blinked, rereading the email to make sure she wasn't imagining it. Seoul? A chance to not only advance her career but also live in the city she had always dreamed about?

Her heart pounded in her chest. This could change everything.

Later that evening, Y/N sat on her bed, her laptop balanced on her knees as she typed out a response to Yerin. She knew she had to move fast if she wanted the position.

Y/N's Reply:

_"Hi Yerin,

Thank you so much for thinking of me for this opportunity! I'm definitely interested, though I need some time to consider everything. It's such a big move, and I'll have to talk to my parents about it.

Could you send me more details about the position and the application process? I'd love to know what's required.

Looking forward to hearing more._

Best,
Y/N"

Hitting 'send,' Y/N exhaled. There was a spark of excitement flickering inside her, but it was quickly doused by the anxiety creeping in. What would her parents say? The idea of moving to Seoul, as exciting as it was, seemed far-fetched. Could she really leave everything behind and start fresh in a new city?

As she lay back on her bed, staring at the ceiling, her phone buzzed again. This time, it was a message from Adhi.

Adhi: "Need a drink tonight?"

She smiled, grateful for his timing. If there was one person who could help her make sense of all this, it was Adhi.

They met at their usual spot, a small café not far from their office. The place was buzzing with the sounds of clinking cups and quiet chatter, but it always felt like a bubble of calm amidst the chaos of the city. Adhi was already seated at a corner table, two steaming cups of chai in front of him.
