I woke up after hearing the buzzing sound of my alarm in the morning. The sun was rising with the bright lights of life, casting a warm glow over everything. It was 6:00 AM, and I felt refreshed.

I went to the gym and did a workout for an hour, maintaining my daily routine and commitment to a healthy lifestyle. After working out, I came home and freshened up, feeling energized.
I wore a crisp white tee with a white -black striped button-down shirt. jeans and Nike shoes, and grabbed my backpack and bike keys. As I headed out, I saw my mom preparing breakfast in the kitchen.

"Mom, can you make my breakfast fast? I have class," I requested, urgency creeping into my voice.

"Okay, beta," Mom replied with a warm smile.

"And where's Rudra? Is he still sleeping?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.

"Yes, go and wake him up, can you?" Mom said, handing me the responsibility.

"Okay, Maa," I replied, heading to Rudra's room.

My little brother was sleeping peacefully, his gentle breathing a stark contrast to the chaos that would soon ensue. He's the spoiled child of our house - kind, smart, and good-looking. We'd be attending the same university, where he'd study business and eventually take over our family's legacy.

"Hey Rud, wake up! Don't you have class today?" I teased, yanking off his covers.

"Just a little more, please," Rudra pleaded, rubbing his sleepy eyes.

"Hey, it's already 8:30! Get up, or you'll be late for your first day of university," I insisted, playfully tugging him out of bed.

"Give me five more minutes," Rudra begged.

"No, just get up," I said firmly, pulling his leg. Rudra fell off the bed, and we erupted into a hilarious sibling brawl.

I love teasing my little brother; it's a timeless tradition. We fought like children, our laughter and shouts filling the room.

Mom intervened, chuckling, "You two are not kids anymore! How many times must I stop your fights?"

Rudra protested, "Bhai started it!"

I retorted, "Your fault for sleeping in!"

Mom calmly settled the dispute. "Okay, enough now. Rudra, go freshen up, and Kartik, come have your breakfast."

We exchanged mischievous grins and said in unison, "Yes, Ma'am!" followed by laughter.

These two - Mom and Rudra - are the only people who can make my life truly joyful.

I ate my breakfast, savoring the taste and warmth of the moment.
After some time Rudra also came, ready to have breakfast.
After having breakfast, I said bye to both of them and left for the university. Rudra's class will be late so he will come late.
