Hyunjin wasn't used to having to work so hard for someone's affection, but Seungmin's quiet nature intrigued him.

In every meeting, Seungmin made sure that his camera was with him all the time. In many of their walks, he would suddenly pause to take out his camera and photograph a detail as trivial as a shadow on a wall or the light on the pavement or a look on someone's face. That was the reason why Hyunjin enjoyed watching him work. There was something almost intimate about seeing the world through Seungmin's lens, the way it captured the reality, in apparently boring, everyday scenarios, was exhilarating.

At the same time Hyunjin was trying to coax Seungmin to share his feelings, Seungmin played a bit 'hard-to-get'. Seungmin would just reply with a smile or a dismissive gesture and would not let Hyunjin in his head. But Hyunjin didn't give up.

One day they walked for several hours across the deserted part of the town, and then they found themselves near the Han river. This actually wasn't the first time that Seungmin had snapped a few pictures of the water and lights, and before he knew it, all of a sudden, Hyunjin have the courage to do what is necessary.

"You know," Hyunjin began, his voice soft but firm, "I like you, Seungmin. Ever since we met, you've brought so much light into my life. It's like... everything just makes sense when I'm with you. So, what I'm trying to say is... I really love you, Seungmin. More than I ever thought I could like someone. I... I think I'm falling for you."

Seungmin simply stared at him. For a moment, Hyunjin thought he had misjudged everything, that Seungmin wasn't interested. He was about to initiate Plan B, ie, to scream 'JOKE'. But then Seungmin's lips quirked into a faint smile.

"Hyunjin, I've been waiting for you to say that. I've been scared to admit it, but I'm falling for you too. I just didn't know how to say it."

Hyunjin's heart leaped. "You don't have to say much," he said, taking a step closer. "Just let me in."

Seungmin didn't respond with words. Instead, he closed the gap between them, and in that quiet moment by the water, Hyunjin felt Seungmin's answer in the warmth of his hand slipping into his.

The kiss is slow and deep, lips locking softly, every motion sending the butterflies fluttering like mad inside them. Hyunjin's arms then wrap around Seungmin's waist and he pulls the other towards him; Seungmin in return rakes his fingers though Hyunjin's hair and grips them.

Finally as they pull apart, both out of breath, yes slightly dazed they look into each other's eyes and smile shyly as the burden of the unexpressed emotion is off their shoulders.

For a breif moment, they looked at each other lovingly and then broke out into giggles, joining their heads together.
