𝟶𝟶𝟶. “Master Sol!” Kaye sprinted back to her former master, seeing his small team had congregated near a humble, wooden, and hand-built shelter. It was where Kelnacca sought shelter.

“Kaye, stay right where you are!"” Yord shouted firmly; his voice cut through the air with such authority that she almost instinctively obeyed his command. She stopped a couple steps away from Osha, yet a hint of irritation flared within her at Yord's command, her independent nature chafing at the idea of being relegated to the sidelines while the others fought.

However, she clenched her jaw, determined to keep her emotions in check for now. She could tell that this was not the time to question his authority or assert her own opinions, and so she chose to push down her frustration.

Right now, they have to capture Mae and bring her back to the ship safely.

“Master Kelnacca...” Kaye whispered, her hand instinctively rising to cover her mouth, muffling the sound of her breathing as she pondered if there was still a soul in Kelnacca's body.

She couldn't stand losing another second parent.

“In the name of the Galactic Republic, and the Order of the Jedi, anyone inside that domicile should come out with your hands where we can see them.” One of the members of Master Sol's small team spoke their motto.

Slowly, Master Sol glanced down over his shoulder until his body completely moved. Kaye could practically feel the change in his demeanor, the dull shift in his body language indicating that Master Sol was on high alert, sensing something that she couldn't yet sense.

There was a strange heaviness in the air, an almost tangible sensation that something was amiss. The tension in Master Sol's body seemed to increase, his muscles coiling taut as if ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

Of course, not even a minute later, Kaye's own senses tingled, and she felt it too. However, this sensation was not just heavier than what her former master was feeling; it was far more intense, as if a crushing weight had settled upon her very soul.

It felt like a person who she was connected with.

It also felt like something else. A presence that felt like... Home.

A Sith.

Perceiving Master Sol's gesture, all of them twirled around except Kaye. She stayed where she was, the breath shuddering in her chest as she fought to maintain her composure. Her body was tense, her muscles coiled like a spring, ready to snap, but she forced herself to remain still.
