Ruby woke up to James shaking her awake,

"hey Rue we're here," he said, as her eyes fluttered open, as she sat up she saw they were no longer in a car, she woke up in some sort of junk yard, Piles of metal objects glinted in themoonlight: broken heads of bronze horses, metal legs from human statues, smashed chariots, tons of shields and swords and other weapons, along with more modern stuff, like cars thatgleamed gold and silver, refrigerators, washing machines, and computer monitors

"why are we in a junkyard?" Ruby asked,

"not just any junkyard," James told her, "the junkyard of the gods."

"but why?" Ruby asked again,

"you'll see," James told her as she eyed him suspiciously because of his answer.

"ok...." she said, while she stood up and dusted herself off, she looked around once more and saw that it seemed like they were in a desert. then she noticed some of the stuff in this junkyard was solid gold, "why is there solid gold stuff here?"

"its the junkyard of the gods whatever they don't want or machines that failed, come here, it mostly Hepheastus's," James told her eyes he watched what seemed to be the entrance.

"what are you doing?"

"watching,"

"for what?"

"you'll know when it comes,"

Ruby shrugged and went to explore the junkyard,

"don't touch anything." James told her, she nodded as she saw a beautiful golden hair clip, but she turned her head away listening to what James told her.

a gust of wind blew up some sand as she turned away she saw a glimpse of looked like five people walking towards the junkyard. but then her hair blew in front of her eyes and when she brushed it away they were gone.

she looked around looking for them, because how can five people disappear into thin air.

"James..." she said as she turned around to go back, but when she turned back James wasn't there anymore, "James!"

she walked towards the spot she had last seen him and didn't see any traces of him walking away or anything.

she started to panic when she saw something shine on the ground, she picked it up and saw it was a ring, but not a ring for a finger but a ring that connected kept James's bag closed.

she walked in the direction she thinks the ring was dropped in.

she was walking when she heard voices.

"It's delicious!" A voice said, it kinda of sounded like a boy.

"I'm serious!" said another voice, in a much stricter tone,

"Look!" another said. "A Hunter's bow!"She herd yelp.

"It's just like Percys sword!"

"Leave it, Bianca." Ruby's eyes widen at the name, why was Bianca here she thought.

"But—"

"It is here for a reason. Anything thrown away in this junkyard must stay in this yard. Itis defective. Or cursed."

"I don't like this place," the voice with the stricter tone said.

"You think we're going to get attacked by killer refrigerators?" another asked.

"Zoe is right, Percy. Things get thrown away here for areason. Now come on, let's get across the yard." it seemed like everyone that is one the quest was here, but why here?
