Last time: The teams had faced threats on their mission, now after the ordeal they wished to rest as they had had to deal with major threats. Now they try to relax after all they have been through, but it seems something with Clay will be revealed.
Location: Town of Hermes
In the town of Hermes, it has been a few days since the mission at Mercury Mountains, it would have been something to celebrate but since the building was destroyed when they were meant to observe the pay was cut majorly so the five teams sent were rather sour about the ordeal. Team Hope was returning from another minor mission, Nero looking at his badge, it had changed shape after they returned to the guild from the mission, looking like Bianco's having a bronze color with a red gem in the middle, Bianco explained that badges will change on the ranks if you do enough mission. Both Halo and Nero never took the fact of the pay being cut too badly but Bianco however did as that meant no big purchases for supplies for bigger missions, as they walked through town Bianco was sulking as they walked. "You okay Bianco?" Nero asked.
"We were offered so much money that could have helped me get a base or something, I could have even got some amazing supplies for dealing with serious missions," Bianco said as he looked upset from the lack of money they reserved, normally he didn't mind but it was a big payment they could have reserved, it was selfish but they all could have used the money.
As they made their way through the town, they noticed the local town inn to see the front porch of the building, a table where they saw three Knights, Sasaki, Jason, and Thanatos, mainly talking before Jason saw them and waved at them. "Hey, if it isn't Team Hope!" Jason said as he greeted the three Pokémon.
"Sup you three..." Bianco said unenthusiastically at the sight of them as the Knights did drastically decide to cut most of the pay. "What are you three doing here?"
"Oh, you didn't hear. Thanatos and I are staying here! Sauce-Key wanted to stay on the ship they arrived in as a base and house on the boat." Jason said with Sasaki turning his head to not show the irritation he had about his name being mispronounced on purpose, he then turned his head to face them with a stoic look.
"The boat is one of a few my Uncle commands and lent to Captain Kraken to keep me in this town. I would stay in this inn, but I refuse to share a room with Jason, and Thanatos kept on watching me sleep so I moved out." Sasaki explained to the three Pokémon.
They then turned to Thanatos who was floating over a chair. "Most Ghost Pokémon don't sleep... so I just float around... watching Pokémon sleep is a bad habit that... Jason doesn't mind." Thanatos replied.
Jason just shrugged off the claim of his roommate watching him sleep, something many would find creepy. "Hmm, doesn't bother me, what about you three?"
"We're back from a mission to find a Minun that was lost in the Dungeon, saved them and took out several Bidoofs, they had it coming," Nero said with him tightening his fist confusing the three Knights. "They know what they did!"
As they talked a Pokémon walked out of the Inn with a tray with some food on it, a server. They turned to the server who was a Lopunny and placed down the food they had; Bianco noticed that she was the same Lopunny a few days ago. "Oh, hello there." She said not giving them any mind. "Here is your food sir." She said placing food for the three knights.
"Hey there, never get those thanks for saving you from that cheating rat that attacked you." Bianco said with a somewhat sassy tone that came out of nowhere.
"You mean the Rattata? That I could have kicked you in the face easily?" Ostia said in the same sassy tone back that made Bianco chuckle.
"True, if anyone was a danger that day it might have been you for hitting them and making them confess to selling over-price junk and theft," Bianco said as he remembered what happened afterward too, after leaving the Rattata salesman was arrested as he was stealing both junk and supplies from stores without anyone noticing and selling them as an extreme price. "Great work miss."
