Y/N POV

I'm fighting along side Wanda against some wannabe Hydra fools. I am focused on one guys when I hear in Wanda yell.

"Y/N!! Behind you!" As soon as I turn around Wanda's red whisps lift the guy right before his knife swipes at my throat. Luckily she threw him just in time.

Then I hear my girlfriend in comms, "Y/N! I should not be hearing Maximoff screaming like that! You need to watch your back! I told you you're not allowed to die."

I roll my eyes as I take down two more guys. "I'm fine Nat."

She is always doing this to me. "Hate to break up this lovers quarrel, but we need to wrap this up and I'm not seeing Rumlow."

Tony's voice comes in my ear. As I finish up with two more guys I see Wanda about to get attacked from behind so I rush over and right before he goes to stab her I shove my knife in his neck. As soon as she turns around she sees what I did and I smile at her.

"Now we are even."

She smile but then I feel something pierce my back. I look down and see a sword stick out of me and Wanda's smile falls. "Y/N!!!"

"It's nothing personal, Y/LN." I hear Rumlow behind me. Then he pulls out the sword and Wanda blasts him into a wall killing him instantly.

I fall to the ground but Wanda soon pulls me into her. Holding pressure to my wound.

"Hold on Y/N..."

I look up and see her crying. She grabs me with her magic and flies us to the Quinjet.

"Guys Y/N is hurt bad! We are in the jet."

She sets me on the table, and tries to start patching me up. Next thing I know Nat is next to me. "Y/N, baby. I'm right here. What did I say about dying?"

She has tears in her eyes. I feel Wanda leave my side giving us some privacy. My breathing is getting labored. "I-I'm...sorry...he c-came out of...nowhere."

I cough and blood comes out. Tears falling down my face. Her tears are also falling from her eyes now. "I told you to watch your back." She says crying even more now.

"I-I know.." I can't get more out. My breathing gets slower and slower. I lift my hand to her cheek with the last energy I have. "I..love y-you.."

Natasha POV

Hold one of her hands, I feel her wrist her pulse is barely there. She lifts her hand to my cheek and wipes my tears.

"I..love..y-you.."

Then her hand falls off my face and her pulse is gone. She's lost too much blood to even try to get her back. She's gone...I cry into her chest for a minute. I gather my composure and look to Wanda.

"What happened?" I say with venom in my tone.

"She killed a guy that was about to take me out then Rumlow came out of nowhere and stabbed her."

I want to attack her and say that she should've had her back. I feel myself moving towards her but Steve grabs my arm and I look up at him. He shakes his head and I yank my arm away from him.

"I'm sorry Nat, I should've been more alert."

"Yes you should've. Now she's gone. Just get me to the compound."

I don't say home because it is no longer my home she was my home and she is gone.
