I never gave up: Part 2 (WM & NR)

Natasha POV

"She's very weak, malnourished, several broken ribs, and I see some internal bleeding that needs to be addressed immediately. I recommend we take her to a hospital I can't provide the proper care she needs." Helen Cho advises both me and Wanda.  Y/N has crashed twice since bringing her home. Helen had to put her on a ventilator because she stopped breathing on her own.

She looks so fragile and small. I hate seeing her like this. I haven't stopped crying since seeing her in the jet.

"Okay, let's get her there now." I decide without anyone else talking. Helen looks to Wanda and I almost explode right then and there. But luckily Wanda just nods probably knowing that I am not to be tested right now.

They get ready to load her up in ambulance and I follow them. "Natasha..." I hear Wanda's voice. I stop and turn to her.

"What?"

"I can't do this..." she mutters and I roll my eyes.

"Of course you can't. She deserves better." I turn on my heal and follow after Helen with Y/N.

Hours later....

Clint and Steve are sitting with me after they take Y/N for her surgery. Helen and two other doctors emerge.  I pop up immediately and they both look exhausted.

"How is she?" I ask worriedly Clint rubs my back.

"Hello, I am Dr. King. I was able to stop all the bleeding and we placed titanium plates and screws are then inserted to stabilize the broken ribs. One of her ribs did puncture a lung I was able to repair that. Her left eye socket was broken so I had to repair that. As you know she has been very malnourished and has a long recovery ahead of her. There are several scars and contusions on her body that were open healed and reopened. It looks like she might have been pregnant and looks like she miscarried. It wasn't probably dealt with but there wasn't too much damage, and she will probably be able to have children in the future. She has a long road ahead of her. I'd like to keep her here for a few nights before sending her back to the compound with Dr. Cho."

"C-can we see her?" I stutter choking back tears. I can also feel anger building up inside me at the thought that one of those men took advantage of her and got her pregnant.

"Of course, I'll let Dr. Cho take you to her. I have other patients to check on but I will be by in about an hour to check on her." He says and heads in a different direction. Clint and Steve tell me they will stay here and let me see her alone.

She hooked to all these wires and tubes. The sound of the beeping and ventilation that she is still on breaks my heart. I also see a little bed in the corner next to hers. I look at Helen, and she speaks up. "I had that put in here for you but I originally thought it would be for Miss Maximoff but I noticed she didn't come. So it's now yours, they really only let family stay over night but I know she has not immediate family. So if anyone asks your her fiancée."

I smile, "Thank you." I walk to the side of her bed and sit in the chair. I take her hand and I hear the door close I look behind me and Helen has left me alone. "I'm so sorry I didn't find you sooner."

Y/N POV

I feel myself waking up and I hear the machines beeping. It's bright and I feel pressure on my arm. I look down and see red hair with blonde tips asleep on me while she holds my hand. I try to tighten my grip around her hand but I'm so weak it barely does anything. It must do enough because she stirs awake.
