After my successful interview at the high school, I drove to the construction site of my store. Amethyst has grown nationwide, and I am enormously proud of it. The first time I opened my first store, I cried. My dad has been my biggest supporter, which has gotten me to this point.

Each store is a little different in each city. Due to the high customer demand in California, there are two stores, which means the stores are bigger to meet that demand. It's the same in New York. Three stores are under construction in Texas: one in Houston, one in Dallas, and one in Austin.

It is still surprising that my clothing line has come this far. Building a store in Mystic Falls has always been part of my plan, but I was shocked that Amethyst was still in high demand here. I smile brightly as the site comes into view. The store will be right outside the town square, within reach of the town, and accessible to visitors.

Once I pull up to the site, I see many workers and tractors moving throughout the property. I couldn't help but smile at the progress. It wasn't much, but it was enough. Seeing the store's progress, which should have been my first, filled me with pride. It reminded me of my hard work and how far I have come.

As I watch them continue to work, I see a man in a suit approaching me.

"Hello. Is there something I can do for you today?"
He asks in confusion.

"Oh no. I'm just checking on the progress."
I answer.

"If I can ask, why does the progress matter to you?"
He asks.

"Oh, it's my store that's being built here."
I answered with a smile.

"So, you're Ms. Gilbert?"
He asked enthusiastically. I nod my head in response.

"It's an honor to meet you. It's nice to have a face to a name finally."
He says with a smile.

"Yea. I know you to the representative's face. I haven't been in town, but I just wanted to see if everything was on track."

"Yes, everything is running smoothly and on track."
He confirms, causing me to nod in approval.

"Well, that was the only reason I came to visit. Thank you for your hard work. Have a blessed day."
I smile as I bid him farewell.
