Her parents are homophobic.
So many people have verbally and physically hurt her that she's numb to most of it.
She doesn't like Roger.
She fell for Vivian.
Vivian showed her what loves supposed to be like but she is too scared to leave Roger.
She tries to numb herself with alcohol.
A lot of the things she says or does is because she's learnt it from her parents growing up or because of the manipulation of Roger. Vivian helped her unlearn a lot of it although Siobhan doesn't show that she's unlearned it around Roger or people close to him as to not got on his nerves.
She was terrified to run off with viv, but she was so happy she did.
