Spy Theories

Charlotte.

Charlotte is one of the top fan theories for who the spy could be, some of the reasons for this include: she's been at the nursery for years, she's friends with Carly who tells her all the gossip she overhears, she's been one of the only characters in certain situations to know things were happening for example she guessed autumn was pregnant, etc. Even though Char is a leading theory, a lot of people don't want her to be the spy because of how sweet she is and also how it will affect her relationships if people are to find out. Although being a people pleaser, she is more likely to be easily manipulated, especially if it's been happening for a while, making her a very likely candidate.

Winter.

Winter is one of the other leading theories for many reasons as well, he's also been there a while but he's also married to Autumn. One of the main people getting spied on it seems. A lot of the things happening to him and Autumn only they would've known till told to others. Therefore either Autumn or winter would've had to have said something to Roger for him to find out unless someone over heard. Which isn't likely for every situation. Like Charlotte, people don't seem too happy with this theory, this time for Autumn's sake. People don't want one of the only people Autumn is open to, to end up being someone who's been spying on her.

Carly.

Carly, although not a leading theory, is popular. She's the eavesdropper, she knows a lot, she is also at the same age Mia was when she started getting manipulated by Roger. She's also been at the nursery a while so she knows a lot that way. Personally, I think if she is a spy, she isn't aware she's doing so.

Agatha.

The theory that Agatha is the spy was a popular theory, it has died down since the popularity of Charlotte and Winter theories. A lot of the reasons for her being on here is because she was always listening at reception. She overheard things quite often and could hear conversations in the office as she was heard talking loudly to respond to Marjorie in an episode. Although this wouldn't line up with a lot of stuff that happened before her time.

The Fandom.

The fandom as a whole being a theory might shock you, but let me explain. Who is always watching? Making edits? Making theories? Commenting? Us! We are doing that. Siobhan never said it was one lone person. It can be all of us! Not just that, they are self aware, Charlotte mentioned the Instagram for the parents has 100,000 followers. That would be strange if it's just a small nursery. Also, Carly is known to be a fan page herself, mentioning the woman who makes nursery skits and wearing the shirt. On top of that, Marjorie has broken the fourth wall multiple times. This is far fetched, but it's a well thought out fan theory.

Jodie.

Jodie is a random one to me, sure she's easy to manipulate (proven by Mia) and been around a while, but she also is barely around currently and wouldn't be a useful spy.

Siobhan.

I'm surprised she even made the list of potential spies. She wouldn't be so open about there being other spies if she was a spy, also she is almost never at the nursery and when she is it's normally to see Vivian. Also she would be the first choice for who Reece and Autumn would assume is spying which doesn't make her much of a spy if everyone knows.

A/N: for starters, huge credits to scarlet for her work on TikTok with the spy theories, I felt like writing the theories in my own way and adding it to my little Headcannons book. I will add more if necessary, I was just adding what came to mind at 2am. This is a random chapter I know but I felt like adding the Spy Theories to the end for those who'd find it interesting. Let me know if I missed any or should add more detail.
