All he ever wanted was a friendship but he constantly fails.

He looses Jodie and then has to hunt her down a lot.

He works alone when Jodie isn't there.

He has a terrible relationship with his mom but doesn't fully understand that.

Eric is really innocent because his mum taught him nothing.
