Offroad POV

"How did I get suckered into this?" Ton moaned as Offroad dragged him to the table in the library. They were meeting with their group to begin their project and Offroad wanted to get there first so he could then control where everyone would sit.

"Because you love me," Offroad said, turning to smile at his friend.

"Do I?" Ton said back making a face at Offroad.

"You do. Now sit," Offroad said, instructing Ton to take the middle seat opposite of him.

"What makes you think this is going to work?" Ton asked as he took his seat. Offroad's plan was that they would sit in the middle of the 6 chairs forcing Daou and Frank to each pick a side and because they were in the middle B who would ultimately be last as usual would be forced to sit next to Ton. "You can end up next to Frank,"

"I highly doubt that," Offroad laughed in a cocky manner.

"Conceded much?" Ton laughed back.

"You call it conceded. I call it confidence," Offroad smirked. He watched as Ton shook his head in defeat. Offroad knew people wanted him. It wasn't hard to figure out, but it was an extremely rare occasion he wanted someone first, and he definitely wanted that tall slim man who looked so hard on the outside. He knew that inside that man was gonna be all squishy. "Oh, here they come," Offroad standing back up from his seat waving Daou and Frank over.

"Hey," Frank said as they approached, eyes shifting back and forth between Offroad and Ton.

"Hey, have a seat," Offroad said motioning to the table before sitting back in his seat. Offroad watched as the two men shared a look, and Daous' hand extended out gripping the back of the chair next to his. Offroad looked at Ton giving him an 'I told you so,' look to which Ton just rolled his eyes. Frank took the chair next to Ton giving a confused look to them both.

"Where is B?" Daou asked, unpacking his stuff onto the table.

"Late as usual," Offroad said, rolling his eyes.

"Hey," Frank said, perking up. "While he isn't here, we were talking yesterday, what's the deal with you two- OUCH!" Frank's question was cut off as he hissed in pain staring daggers at Daou who mouthed to him to shut up.

"So you were talking about me huh?" Offroad said smirking.

"Not really," Daou said, rubbing the back of his head. "I was given a strong warning to keep away from you."

"Oh really?" Offroad said leaning onto the table and propping his head on his hands staring hard at Daou. "So you need to keep away from me?"

"No, you're not my type," Daou said. The tone in which he delivered it had Offroad annoyed. It was flat and monotone.

"And what is your type?" Offroad asked now curious.

"Someone who can put up with his clinginess 24/7," Frank laughed. "He is like a lost puppy looking for a master-OUCH god damn it STOP!" Frank growled at Daou, who had just kicked him once again. Offroad could see the man's ears getting redder by the second. Offroad had heard all he needed so he figured he would save the man more embarrassment.

"Okay okay," Offroad laughed, straightening in his seat. "Let's focus on the project."

"I went ahead and gathered some titles of books we may want to check out for research and some previous papers that are similar to our topic," Daou said as he pulled out his notebook from his bag.

"Oh look at you," Offroad said, reaching out of habit to the man's head, pausing remembering he was older and it was inappropriate to touch his head. Daou froze like a deer in the headlights staring at Offroad's outstretched hand. Ton cleared his throat causing Offroad to look away, his ears being the ones to grow red this time.
