Y/n's POV :
I entered the shower to take a bath as Shanks smoked away in the living room even when I told him not to
Andddd
The electricity was gone
"AHHHHHHHHHH" I screamed as Shanks ran to the bath
"WHAT?" He opened the door
"DON'T COME IN!" I threw a bucket at him
...
"I am waiting in the bed, get dressed and get out" Saying this he got out of the bath to my room
"Its so dark I can't even see!" I said
Also I didn't bring my clothes inside because The bathroom is in my room so I always just wear a towel to get to my wardrobe after a bath
"S- shanks get out, I have to take my clothes from the wardrobe" I said
Silence followed
"Shanks?"
"Not going" He replied
"HEY YOU BRAT!"
"You are afraid of the dark Y/n, you fainted once" He said
... True
If I ask him to give me my clothes he may enter with it
... Ugh
"Hey I am entering wearing a towel, don't turn the flash on"
"Ok-ayy"
He is being weirdly cooperative today
I got out of the bath as I looked for my clothes
Please god, anything will do
I found my nightdress
Well I am gonna change anyways
..
I took the dress back into the bath and started wearing it
However Shanks has been quiet so now I am scared of being alone
"You are there right?" I asked him
"Mhmm"

The rustling of her clothes is making me just want to go and grab her
Her cute little question to make sure I am here is making me feel more desperate and now her opening the bathroom door again is making me want to go grab the opportunity
But it's been only me who has been grabing opportunities this days, I can't let her feel like I take advantage of her, I have to make her realize that she also wants me

"Turn the flash on" I said as Shanks did
He looked me up and down, admiring me
"You changed the old one" He remarked
"I brought this new one with Nami, the old one was too short for me" I said
Of course it was, Shanks choosed it after all

I took a seat besides him, putting my head on his shoulder
"Today really is Mommy's birthday" I said
"Yeah"
