I nodded "it's easy really, if anyone does not realize that he or she is just dumb" I replied, he looked at me for a second, thinking deep about something
"I see... You exceed my expectations" He chuckled lightly which I glanced up to get a glimpse of but couldn't
"What? You thought I am some dense dad's mafia princess?" I asked, half joking half serious
He tilted his head a little "can't expect more for an arrange marriage you see"
He matches my confidence... I don't like that
The thought of him taking amusement from my curiosity like I am, makes me feel irritated
"Now may I ask a question?" I asked
"Go on" He said, slurping on the soup which was in front of him, even slurping soup looks elegant when done by him, classy I will have to give him that
"Why did you choosed me?" I asked him
A small smile came over his lips, this time for a longer period of time
"Good question, I was just new to japan and--"
"Nah, what benefits is papa giving you from the marriage?" I asked again
"That was rude but I will answer anyways"
"49% of your business shares, you are their only heir after all" He said
... Shanks always wanted to be the one to take over, well I knew it was for me but still
All of this just means if I marry Mihawk san it will be more likely that Shanks won't have another reason to continue in this path, after all the girl is gone, along with his dream of taking over
"Great" I said, sipping onto my tea

Mihawk's POV :
Is she disappointed that the answer because she is cute or because I fell for her in first sight instead of the other candidates?
I glanced over to her back, Perona sitting wearing a suspicious hat and a having lunch, her pink sunglass making her stand out more

I told that girl that everything is gonna go smoothly but she ended up stalking us after all

HOW COULD I RESIST???? THIS IS SO FREAKING INTERESTING?
Plus this guy has no brain when it comes to dating! (The same girl who broke up with her lifelong crush because he didn't pamper her enough)
"I wonder if they are going to kiss today" I muttered to myself, putting out my binoculars

"Who are you and why are you stalking them?" He demanded answers, his voice low but aggressive enough

"I- I am--" Before I could reply I glanced over to the couple on their date again, thinking what can I make up
I can't definitely let them know I was stalking them!
"Ah! I see" The man's eyes lit up a bit when he seemed like he realized something
He hold my hand and startes shaking them
"Well we are on the same team I see" He grinned

Well now we are sitting together in the garden bench, watching Y/n and my idiot uncle still gossiping
"I wonder what they are talking about" I muttered, "nothing interesting I bet, the guy is boring" Said Red Haired
I frowed "I mean how will the conversation be interesting when the girl doesn't seem to have anything to talk about? Bland won't you say?" I defending Mihawk
"I can assure you it's very fun to be around that girl, I have met the guy before and I can for sure say he is tasteless and lame to be around" He replied back

Uncle has no sense of interest in anything other than books or the business
... I just sweatdropped thinking of an answer when I saw the both of them getting up their seats
"Let's go" He called
"I ain't going further, they should be in the pool, they will spot us there" I said
"Oh? See ya then" Red haired left me and began walking on by himself

I went in front of him and stopped hin
"The pool area is private for everyone who booked it! Plus they have bodyguards there, you will certainly be spotted!" I can't let him ruin the date!
".. " He was quiet, I knew he was thinking what to do now
"You have any ideas?" He asked, leaning onto a bit to my face
A light blush came over "YOU ARE TOO CLOSE!" I removed his face from in front of mine as he kept waiting for my answer
Not gonna lie he has a good body with a good head attached to it
... I can see why that Y/n prefers him even tho Uncle Mihawk is so handsome
If I had to choose I will also prefer his face
*ahem*
What am I even thinking
"Well there is a park overlooking the swimming pool so if we get into the Ferris wheel we should be able to see them!" I stated as he thought for a moment
"Hmm we can do that" He said, his serious face didn't felt like he wikl agree but whatever
Anything to keep their date ongoing!
