"Those lips... they're really tempting right now," I thought, my mind drifting back to that moment. I couldn't help myself. Tae... Tae...

"Taehyung!! Come back to the world! Are you even listening to me?" Jimin's voice snapped me out of my trance, pulling me back to reality.

Author POV:

"Huh? Sorry, I didn't catch that... Can you repeat?" Taehyung asked, scratching the back of his neck with a sheepish grin.

Jimin pouted, crossing his arms. "So you didn't listen to anything I've been saying?"

"No, no, no, Jimin! I heard everything! I just... zoned out a bit at the end," Taehyung replied with an apologetic look, hoping to convince his friend.

Jimin sighed, clearly not buying it. "I said, we only have half a day of classes today. Wanna go out?"

"Yeah, sure!" Taehyung agreed, too eagerly.

"Where are we heading?" Y/N chimed in, joining the conversation.

Jimin and Taehyung exchanged glances, both thinking. "Park?" Jimin suggested, but Y/N shook her head in disapproval.

"How about the beach?" Taehyung offered, looking hopeful.

Y/N thought for a moment before nodding. "Umm... okay, let's go."

Y/N's POV:

The beach was perfect. We ran toward the shoreline like kids, splashing water at each other, drawing random shapes in the sand, and eating tteok-bokki from a nearby food stall-one of my absolute favorites.

The sun was setting, casting a beautiful red hue across the sky. It looked like the sky itself was blushing, like it had fallen in love with the sea, and the sea, in return, reflected the colors as if flirting back. The whole scene was breathtaking.

I walked along the shore, feeling the cool waves lapping at my feet. I stared at the horizon, lost in thought, when suddenly, I felt a light tap on my shoulder.

I turned around to see him-Taehyung. Those sapphire eyes of his pulled me in, deeper and deeper, just like before. I barely noticed the words escaping my lips. "What are you putting in those eyes to attract me like this?"

"Huh? What?" he asked, looking confused.

Oh no... Did I just say that out loud?

My heart raced as I internally face-palmed. "Um? What happened?" I quickly acted like nothing had happened.

"You said something, right?" Taehyung persisted, his gaze curious.

"Did I? I don't remember saying anything!" I replied, turning my attention back to the ocean, trying to play it cool while my nerves were on high alert. He shrugged it off, still looking at the sea, and I breathed a sigh of relief.

"The sea is beautiful," he said, his voice calm and thoughtful as his eyes stayed fixed on the horizon.

I nodded in agreement, stealing glances at him from time to time. He was beautiful too, standing there against the backdrop of the endless sea.

"Where's Jimin?" Taehyung suddenly asked, breaking the silence.

I couldn't help but roll my eyes at that question. "You don't look for Jimin when he's outside. He'll find us when he's done with his 'work,'"

I replied with a blank expression.

Taehyung gave me a confused look. "Work?"

I sighed and pointed in Jimin's direction. He followed my gaze and saw Jimin chatting up some girl, clearly flirting.

"That's his work," I said, exasperated, and turned back to the sea, continuing my walk.

Taehyung chuckled at the sight of Jimin and caught up with me. The silence between us wasn't awkward; it was peaceful, like the gentle sound of waves crashing on the shore.

Minutes passed, and the sun dipped below the horizon, leaving behind a rising moon that reflected on the sea like scattered pearls. The breeze turned chilly, sending goosebumps up my arms. I rubbed them for warmth and closed my eyes, inhaling the fresh night air.

"How about a long drive?" Taehyung's voice broke the silence.

"Umm... sounds good. Let me just call my parents, or they'll worry," I said, fishing my phone out of my pocket.

He nodded and turned away, to call jimin

Taehyung's POV:

I called Jimin, letting him know about our spontaneous plan. "Yeah, sounds fun! Hold on, let me just tell my mom," Jimin said, walking off as he dialed.

I turned back toward the ocean. The night was still, the sound of waves soothing. The moon hung high in the sky, casting its silver glow over everything, creating an otherworldly scene. I stood a few steps behind her, watching Y/N as she stood at the water's edge, her feet sinking into the cool, wet sand.

Her hair danced in the wind, and the hem of her dress fluttered with the breeze. The way she stood there, bathed in the moonlight, made her look ethereal, like she belonged in this moment with the sea and the stars.

I hadn't realized how long I'd been staring until she turned and waved at me, snapping me out of my thoughts. I blinked, feeling a bit embarrassed. She smiled, giving me a thumbs-up-her parents had agreed.

Jimin appeared shortly after, nodding as he gave a thumbs-up too, still talking with his mom. We exchanged grins and practically ran to the car, laughing and shouting like kids on a sugar rush.

Y/N slid into the driver's seat, starting the car with ease. I took the backseat, ready to soak in the moment. In the front, Jimin immediately began fiddling with the radio, his fingers dancing across the buttons until he found the perfect song. The music filled the car, setting a laid-back, carefree mood.

The beach disappeared behind us as Y/N hit the road, the wide-open streets lined with swaying trees replacing the shoreline. I leaned back into the seat, staring out the window as the moon cast its soft glow on the road.

Jimin cranked up the volume, shouting something over the music, but I didn't catch it. Still, I laughed along, caught up in the contagious energy.

Y/N glanced in the rearview mirror, laughing as well, and for a brief moment, she winked at me. My heart skipped a beat, and my eyes widened in surprise. She returned her focus to the road, but I was left speechless.

I shook myself out of it, my cheeks still warm, and looked at her, wondering if she realized just how much she had me wrapped around her finger...
