THERD PERSON POV

"LUZ! LUZ!"

Luz tried her best to ignore her mother's calls as she ran through the forest.

Her mother had seen her as a wolf and Luz would never forget her words: "Monstro!" Even though she didn't know it was Luz, her words still hurt.

She ran and ran until she found an abandoned house. She ran inside and sat on the floor, crying.

But she suddenly heard something and snapped her head up. She looked at where the sound came from and she saw a little owl.

"Hey little guy." Luz reached out to pet it,and surprisingly it didn't back away. Luz looked at it closer and realized it had intelligence behind the eyes.

The owl hooted and started hopping away, Luz took his as a sign to follow it, so she did. She followed the owl through a door with weird symbols on it and a yellow eye being very prominent in the middle.

She looked around after she walked through the door, but she didn't see the house. The trees around her had red leaves instead of the green ones she was used to.

She pulled her cat hoodie close to her,even though it was torn up, because it was the last thing she had of home.

She followed the little owl until it stopped in front of a strange house. The owl looked at her and then to the door signaling for her to knock.

So she did she waited a second before she heard a voice. "A guest! We're gonna have so much fun together having tea party's and playing games! HOOT HOOT!"

She looked towards the sound and saw that the owl shaped knocker had turned into a bird...tube? Owl noodle? Thing?

But before she could answer the door opened and revealed a lady with gray-ish hair,golden eyes, and pointy ears.

"What are you doing here-" She stops talking when she sees the little owl. She sighs and signals Luz in.

Luz walks in and looks around. "What is this place?" She asks. "Welcome to the owl house. If Owlbert brought you here then that means you've been cursed,correct?" The lady asks while she begins making tea.

Luz nods as she gets pulled out of her thoughts.
"Alright,if you have nowhere to go then you can stay here if you want. I have a few other kids living here so you'll need to introduce yourself. I'll start: I'm eda the owl lady. Who are you?"

"Luz, Luz Noceda!" Luz says with joy present in her voice. Eda nods and hands Luz a teacup.

"Ok Luz,after you finish your tea I want you to go introduce yourself to Willow, Gus, and Amity...also if you don't mind me asking: what exactly is your curse?" Eda asks as she sips her tea.

"Oh...I uh I'm a werewolf..." Luz says, remem-bering what her mother said.

"Hmm,alright so you'll need a room without windows and extra clothes." Eda says as she pulls out a notebook.

"Having no windows won't really change anything,"Luz begins. "Even without the windows I still turn, albeit I'm more conscious of my actions but still."

"Well we don't know what will happen to you with the shine of our moon so I'll give you one window." Eda says.

After a minute or so Luz finishes her tea and goes off to find the other cursed kids. She walks down the halls of the first floor and sees a door with a rose on it.

She opened the door and saw a plethora of flowers and other plants scattered around the room. "Wow..." she says as she looks around,but that causes her to not see a giant carnivorous plant right in front of her.

The plant is about to eat her when something bonks it on the head.

*SMACK*

Luz looks up and sees a girl with blue-ish-black hair and glasses.

"No! Bad Beatrice! We don't eat our guests!" The girl says.

The plant gave her a pitiful wimper and she sighed. "I can't be mad at you forever." She turns to face Luz. "Hi! I'm sorry for Beatrice's behavior. I'm Willow! What's your name human?"

"Uh hi I'm Luz." Luz replies.

"So how did you get to the boiling isles?" Willow asks leaning in closer.

"Oh! Right, I actually followed a little brown owl!" Luz explains. Willow's face falters because she knows what that means, it means that that Luz, just like everyone else at the owl house, is cursed. Owlbert lead each of them to Eda's home, and each of them were cursed.

"Anyways, are there any other people living here?" Luz says, snapping Willow out of her thoughts. "Oh yeah, there are two others, Gus and Amity. In fact, Gus is in here too...somewhere..." Willow says, looking around for Gus in the vast expanse of foliage.

"I'm here!" A voice called out from inside the bushes. A second later a younger boy with black curly hair walks out of the over grown foliage. "Hi Gus! This is our new roommate, Luz. Luz, this is Gus." Willow introduces the two.

Gus looks at Luz and immediately notices that she's human. "ARE YOU A HUMAN?! A REAL HUMAN?!" He yells. Luz looks a little overwhelmed but answers his questions. "Yes, I am a human." She says.

"Gus here is a human enthusiast." Willow says trying to hide a laugh. "So Willow, who's the other person who lives here?" Luz asks. Willow and Gus look at each other then back to Luz. "Her name is Amity, and she lives on the second floor. But-" Luz runs out of the room before she can finish.

"This will not be fun to explain to Eda." Gus says, and Willow nods.

LUZ'S POV

I ran up the stairs and down a long hallway. I look at the doors as I pass. Odd...why do none of the doors have the symbols on them? I get to the end of the hall, and finally see a door with a cat paw on it.

Finally! I knock on the door and wait, no answer. I knock again, same thing. Huh, what should I do? I eventually decide to just open the door and walk in. The room was big and had a lot of cat stuff. It also had a lot of big rocks next to the window. Kinda like the sunning rocks from Warrior cats. I thought

I look around for the other girl, but I can't find her, that is until I see a green cat tail swishing from behind one of the rocks. I walk over and see the cutest thing ever!!! It was a huge green cat with a few brown spots.

I get closer and I'm about to pet it when it wakes up, lunges at me, and pins me to the wall. "Ow!" I yelp in pain as her claws dig into my shoulders. So this must be Amity's curse. I look around to find something, anything, that I can use to get out of this.

My eyes land on a container of what looks like catnip. I look back at the cat and decide it's worth a try. I grab a handful of the catnip and it starts burning my hand! What the fuck is this made of?! I bring my hand over to Amity's mouth. She sniffs it for a second and then her eyes light up and she gladly eats it.

After she finishes she lays down and falls asleep.

EDA'S POV

"SHE WHAT?!" I yell, rushing up to the second floor. Willow and Gus just told me that Luz went into Amity's room. "WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL HER THAT AMITY WAS STUCK IN HER CURSED FORM?!" I run towards Amity's room.

"She left before we had a chance to!" Gus yells back. I finally get to Amity's room and I swing the door open, expecting to find a dead human. But instead I see Luz and Amity...cuddling? How? No one has ever been able to get close to Amity in her cursed form.

Maybe because her curse is similar to Luz's. A thought in the back of my head whispers. "Let's let them sleep." I whisper to Gus and Willow. They agree and we went to our own rooms for the night.

I finally got this chapter out! I've been trying to finish it for so long! And it's finally done!
