The breaking dawn of early glowing gray skies made their ways as servants ready the vehicle and as did the previous king and his grandson who woke feeling refreshed.
Little Estonia, found in his elder brother's room; he was rolling from both ends of the bed with a pout face. "Do you really have to leave Rus? Can't you take me with you, pleeeease?"
Russia packed his clothing, folded them neatly into his suitcase and added a small case that was put under the clothes. "I wish I could Estonia but this involves important matters, and besides, you have that test upcoming soon with Uzbekistan. I believe it is over about trades?"
Estonia groans. "Yeaaaah. He always talks about the many trades there are and business aspects of them. Sounds so boring."
Russia laughed. "I am sure you will change your mind, after all, he has quite the many stories to tell about his adventures outside the castle walls." This caught Estonia's attention as he rose from the bed.
"He gets to travel outside, like as in around the world?"
Russia nods. "Yes. He gets to meet many people, see the world with his own eyes and explore it all. Though he settled here at the castle for some time, I am sure he will get back out in no time. After all, who wants to be stuck here when you can explore the other regions?" He zips the suitcase close and pats Estonia's head. "Maybe you will get lucky and he will take you on one of his trips to Zhōnghuá. I heard there has been an increase in trade lately with them."
Estonia balled his fists with bubbling excitement at just the thought of traveling somewhere for once. He never ventured outside Tsarovia much less the castle itself. "You think if I ask him he could take me?"
"Perhaps. Just gotta pass that test first." He chuckled as Estonia pouted with a 'hmph' whilst he folded his arms. "Now I have to go meet with Uzbekistan. He is cutting it close to the time I have left."
"I can keep grandfather occupied for you. I've been wanting to talk with him before he goes anyway."
Russia smiled. "That would be very kind of you Estonia. Thank you."
Estonia chuckled and hopped off the bed. "Don't sweat it bro!" He ran towards the door, propping it open and waved. "See you when you depart Rus!" Russia nodded as he watched Estonia slip through the door.
He looked around his room one last time. It was a mindless action to do but something felt amiss which slowly bothered him. Then a thought struck his mind and he went over to the side of his bed; knelt down and reached through the dangling sheets. "Got it." He softly said with a warming smile as he gazed at the item in his hand.
It was a wooden box he got and with both of his hands he carefully laid it in his case after reopening it. He felt silly for almost forgetting about, but the memories that filled his head replaced them with a touching warmth feeling him in his mind and heart. It was unbearable.
"Finally. After so many years, I can finally make do on my promise." He softly whispered. Taking his time to close the suitcase and keep it out from the light once more. Just once more.
Two knocks played at the door. "Russia? Are you there?" It was Uzbekistan.
"One moment." He said as he situated himself and set down his suitcase up right on the ground. Russia soon opened the doors to see Uzbekistan with a smile whilst holding a specific suitcase in his hands. No doubt the clothing he made for Russia upon their grandfather's request. He then noticed someone else beside him.
"Hey there Russia, been a while hasn't? Heard you are taking a visit to Albion Imperium. Bet you're pretty excited to meet the 'most kind and beautiful person I have ever met!'; that about right?" He teased.
