"Beta, tumhare papa or mai chahte hai ki ab tum shaadi karlo, or tumne bhi to yahi kaha tha na ki tum jaldi shaadi kar loge,"

Abhir stayed still in his position as he slowly rotated his neck to his mother's side with his mouth full of sandwich but he wasn't chewing making his mom laugh at his hilarious face.

"Oh my-" she laughed, slapping her son lightly on his shoulder, asking him to chew down his food before he has to cough it out.

"Maa, maine kaha tha mai jaldi shaadi kar lunga matalb 25-26 tak, abhi to I just graduated last year and I've just started taking off Papa's business, let me give the business at least 2-3 years with full focus so that I can manage it well with my married life otherwise it'll become a fuss if I get married just now while I've just started with my career,"

He stated facts forcing his mom to feel proud of her son for being factually correct almost every time he opens his mouth.

"Waah, baate banana seekh gaye ho achi tarah se, acha hai, kaam ayega," her mom mocked him in fun as both of them had their sandwiches in silence with their individual thoughts.

Mrs. Agnihotri was scared for her husband's health as well as his son's bright future, whereas Abhir was deciding on whether to agree with his mom or ask his parents for a little more time to get married.

But his fight wasn't long. He had his mind clear. He already decided to get married wherever his parents would ask him, as he wasn't interested in love marriages anymore. Moreover, he lowkey wanted to see how arranged marriages would work for him too because he's not someone who could be wooed easily by any women, as his standards are high when it comes to his partner.

In his 23 years of living, rare women could get in his vision for something different than other women but it also soon turned too causal for him as his vibe didn't match.

So, now there's no way he's going to get his parents tensed over his marriage and stuff so it was his final call that he willingly took and spoke to his mother.

"Theek hai maa," he said looking to her side.

"Your wish is my command. I'll get married to whoever you'll choose for me," he announced with a smile and side hugged his happy mother who was content about the decision that her son made.

Vaanya who was waiting at the station dialled her brother's number, Kartik, as he told her to wait for 5 minutes cause he was at the crossroad and it's been half an hour now, yet he isn't here.

"Kya bhai, kaha reh gaye aap?" Vaanya grumpily questioned as soon as he received her call.

"Tere saamne hi to hun, meri jaan," he replied.

Running her eyes everywhere, she eventually located him jogging towards her and she couldn't be happier, seeing her brother after almost 4 years in person.

"Bhai," she said to herself as she left her suitcase there and ran into her brother's arms as she wrapped her legs around his waist causing her brother to spin around once because of the force.

"Oh oh oh, araam se," Kartik cackled like Vaanya did but the only difference was that Vaanya had happy tears in her eyes that Kartik lacked as he had the tears of guilt and sorrow.

He kept Vaanya down, pushing her hair back as he kept a hand on her cheek.

"Kaisi hai mai meri chhutki?" He mutters with tears in his eyes but a smile on his lips likewise Vaanya.

"Bilkul bhi achi nahi hai, aap bahut gande ho, aap mujhe akela chhod ke chale gaye the," but her smile switched with an angry pout as she slapped Kartik's chest making him laugh more.
