Harry's Pov:2 days later I had a phone call with Louis. It was late at night and the whole reason for the call was for us to say sorry to each other. I started by saying I was sorry about the mess at dinner, like the lights going out and all that awkwardness. But what I was really sorry for was the lying part, which I didn't even mean to do. It just kind of happened without me realizing it was a lie.
Louis apologized for making our family dinner go all wrong, but I assured him he didn't do anything. And that was not a lie. He accepted my apology and thanked me for being honest this time.
Our conversation came to the point where we came to the conclusion that we should have a sleepover. And so, we set the date, two weeks from now. We were going to stay at Louis' house, and I was actually really excited. I obviously had to tell Niall about this, and he was really excited hearing it, minding the fact that he wasn't going, and he asked me to tell him all the details about it afterwards.
So far, everything was as it should be. When it came to the day before our sleepover, my excitement grew stronger, and I couldn't wait for tomorrow evening. That was, until an unexpected surprise came along.
The moment I stepped into school, everyone was talking about it. Apparently, there was some kind of party tomorrow. And who else would be throwing it if not Zayn. I was not planning on going there and I hoped Louis wasn't either. The thought made me a little worried, but I was sure Louis would understands if I won't go.
"You're not going to the party, are you?" Niall asked, probably already knowing the answer, as he walked up to my locker where I was standing.
I shook my head. "I'm not planning on going. It's gonna be boring anyway, right?" I replied, taking out my english book and closing the locker.
"I agree. Plus, I've already got something else going on. We're going on some kind of vocation tomorrow and I'm coming back next week, so even if I wanted to be there, I can't." he confessed.
For me, it was just another reason why I shouldn't go. If Niall wasn't going, why should I? Now all I had to do was to announce this to Louis and hope he'll be okay with it.
We didn't have any classes together today, so i decided to wait until school ends and ask about it later.
I did have a good time with mostly Liam though. Which was exciting because he's usually talking with his other friend group during the day. He told me he thinks the party is just an excuse for Zayn to have even more attention, if that's even possible, so he's not going to support that either and he's planning on staying home. He suggested that since neither of us is attending, we could do something else together. I told him that I'd love to, and I really would, but I have plans with Louis.
After school ended, Louis and I finally had a chance to talk.
"I need to ask you something," he started with a visible excitement.
"What is it?"
"Have you heard about the party tomorrow? How about we go together and after that, we just go to my house for the sleepover?" he presented his idea with such confidence that it seemed to him like the most perfect way to spend the evening.
"That's actually what I wanted to talk to you about," I said slowly, and he patiently waited for me to continue. I sighed, feeling the weight of my words before I spoke. "I'm not really looking forward on go there."
His happy expression faded and was replaced with now confusion. I still hoped that he would understand my decision. "What? Why?"
"Um, it's because I-"
