Lord Jagannath's Temple , Odisha 🕉️

I am from a state of beautiful culture and rich heritage. Odisha. The beautiful state is famous for food, temples, historical events and our very own Lord Jaganath. Lord Jagannath is believed to be the next form of Narayan after Krishna. As the name suggests Jagnnath is Jag ke naath i.e. the protector, the savior of the world and its people. It is located in Puri District and is one of the Chaar Dhaam. People from across the world visit here just to get a glimpse of him.

The place, the temple, the abode itself has a different charm. The Puri temple is known for its miracle. I will list out a few for you and I am sure once you read this, you are booking a ticket. Let's start with the first one. As per science an object moves in the direction of the force. So if wind flows in a certain direction, objects sways or tend to move in the direction of the wind.
But not in Lord Jagannath temple. The flag on the main temple i.e. changed everyday by a group of people whose ancestors have been doing the same thing since ages, they climb the peak without any support, the same flag flies in the opposite direction of the wind. Isn't it strange? Not until you believe in the supreme and his miracles. The temple where science fails.

Now let's get to the next interesting one. Every day a large amount of food is cooked as Prasad or offerings that people consume once God consumes it as Bhog.
The same amount of food is cooked everyday yet it can feed a thousand people and the same can feed a million. Now lets get to the interesting part, the way these are cooked. A traditional method of cooking is used in the temple where multiple earthen pots are kept on top of one another and the food is cooked and further served in the same pot. Now ideally food in which of the pots should get cooked first? The one closer to fire? But not here. Strangely the top most pot gets cooked first followed by others.

The third. The shadow of the main dome which is the tallest of all is never seen. The marvellous architecture we had back then. The temple has a Sudarshan Chakra on the top. It appears straight or the same from every direction or angle.

The moment you enter the temple, trust me you will feel very different if you are spiritually inclined.
