*Yerba is not in a war in this story and its everything they expected*
Tori's POV:
The other day, Festus offered me and the gang a free trip to his home country, Yerba. I have never heard of this country but a free vacation is a vacation. Thing is, we would have to perform for the chancellor of this 'mysterious' country.
André, Cat, and Robbie came over to talk about this trip. André looked up Yerba on his computer and beautiful pictures of the place popped up. Hopes rising throughout all of us, we rush to ask our parents. Beck and Jade were planning to go to Cancun the same week we go but it was cancelled. Apparently Jade scared the children... made sense.
Ding! Ding! Ding!
My phone went off and it was Beck.
'got any room on that trip for jade and i?'
I'm excited because now everyone is going. Even Sikowitz is going.. as a "responsible chaperone." I hope nothing crazy happens...
*time skip*
The whole friend group made it to the airport with their luggage and neck pillows. The flight was estimated to be around long 10 hours.
When we got there, there was so much noise. Everything from a plane landing, people chattering, and so much liveliness from the wildlife.
With a smile planted on my face, I turn to everyone else.
"Guys, this place is everything we expected!" Everyone agreed in unison. Except Jade. Swear she was cursing under her breath. Cat turned to Jade. "Jade, can I sleep with you tonight?"
I know that Jade had a soft spot for Cat. They have been friends for years now, but I feel a slight bit of.. I don't know... jealousy? Huh.
"Ugh, I guess. You better not move or kick me off the damn bed." Jade said firmly. "Okay! I won't!" Cat giggled.
"Okay, everyone listen up! Go to the hotel lobby to get your key. I'll meet you up with you guys there, I need to go see if there's a pool!" Sikowitz said as he scattered away.
"Vega!" I heard a familiar voice coming from behind me. I turned around, "Hey, what's up?"
"Me, you and Cat in a room right?" Jade said.
"Right." I said with a soft smile. She unexpectedly smiled back. Weird. She never smiles at me. As I felt the redness coming to my cheeks, I quickly turned my back to her and started walking to where our rooms were.
"Wait! Tori, wait up!" I heard Cat as she runs up beside me. "Oh hey, Cat!" The red-headed girl giggles. "Looks like you get one big bed to yourself while Jade and I get a bed! Double beds! In one room!" I laughed at her enthusiasm and patted her head.
"Yup! I hope you don't bother Jade with your sleepwalking and your kicking." She giggled again. "I won't, Tori. For you!" She is just so random.
Cat and I got to the room and Jade soon followed behind. These beds were huge! King size is pretty huge for one person. I'm glad I got this bed to myself. As I started unpacking my luggage, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder. I jumped as it startled me. It was Jade.
"Vega, you getting the bed to yourself?" She asked firmly.
"Uh, yeah. Unless you want me to sleep with Cat?" She removed her hand from my shoulder.
"We'll see what happens tonight." She said ominously. Walking away, back turned. Okay, that's weird. Is she planning to rip my guts out or what?
