Kaia smiles at the outside. She loved being outside. She put in her headphones and started walking down the street.
As she was turning the corner of a street that was a couple of streets from her house, she was met by a blunt force knocking her to the ground. She was met by a boy on his knees and hands crashing down on her, knocking her head against the floor. The boy was up in a flash. He picked up a skateboard and grabbed Kaia picking her up easily.
"Sorry. Come on!" He says and pulls Kaia in the opposite direction then she was going.
Being to weak she ended up following him, running after what was after him, and now apparently her.
After turning a couple streets, hoping fences, and hiding behind a car, the boy decided that it was gone.
"Okay. Its-" He said but was interrupted by Kaia.
"The fuck was after us!" She exclaimed.
"The cops." The boy says. "But they are gone now."
Kaia looked at the boy and said in a very stern voice, "You made me run, hop fences, and hid behind a car, because the cops where after us?"
"Well...sorry." He says rolling his eyes.
"Nah, its cool. Good looking bro." Kaia says and raises her hand slightly.
The boy followed along easily.
"No prob. What you got on you." He says eyeing Kaia.
"Weed, cigs, and some meth. I dont do it i sell it." Kaia explains.
"Dude! We should so smoke!" He says excitedly.
The boys face turned from a hard face, to a happy face, but it had its girly features. Kaia smiles.
"Sure. You matching?" She asks.
The boy looks at Kaia and says, "yeah. Ill match."
Kaia chuckles.
"You dont have to. I got an inhome connect." She says.
His jaw drops.
"What?"
"How the fuck do you have an inhome connect!?" He yells.
"Dude. Chill. He is a stoner and always smokes me out and gives me some." Kaia says.
"So you're pretty much stoned all the time." He says.
Kaia nods.
"Sweet." He says.
"So we smoking or not!" Kaia says excitedly.
"Hell yeah! Oh, by the way. Im Jay." He says
Kaia smiles and says, "Hello Jay. Im Kaia."
"Kaia?" He says.
"Yup." Kaia says simply.
"Interesting." He says.
Kaia and Jay, Jay following Kaia who just started walking away, go to the hole,a hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere, smiling Kaia hops down and Jay stares at her. Kaia blushed softly and looked at him saying, "what."
Jay says in disbelief, "You know the hole."
Kaia smiles, "it isnt like i found it. The twins brought me here one day." She says and shrugs.
"You know the twins?" Jay asks sitting down.
"Yeah. Im not really close to them, but ill chill with them sometimes. One day we where having a smoke sesh and the cops came!" She says and laughs softly. "But we took off." She says and looks at Jay.
"Wow." He says looking at her. "I knew youve had to run from cops before." He says simply.
"Street fighter since fourteen. Yeah. Ive had my experience. But ive never gotten in trouble. Well....thats a lie. I was on probabtion for stealing." She says matter-o-factly.
"What did you steal?" Jay asks.
"Some makeup and clothes for a friend...ex friend." Kaia says and sighs.
"Im on probation for GTA." Jay admits.
"Auto theif." Kaia say more to herself then him.
Yup. Stole a car and made them chase me down. Spent a bit in juvie." He says.
Kaia lifted a hand, "ill admit ive never been to juvie. But i was close."
"How close." Jay asks.
"I almost fought a cop, hand cuffed. I had a blade in my bra." Kaia admits. "I went to get it out and she pinned me against the wall and hand cuffed me." She finishes rolling her eyes.
"Damn." He says.
Kaia nods and starts packing a bowl. Passing it to Jay she said, "ill give you greenies." She says.
Jay smiles and holds the pip to his mouth and lit the weed inside the bowel. He clears it and hands it back trying not to cough. Kaia smiles and hits it. She clears her part and hands it to Jay. Kaia takes her last hit and sees the pipe is empty. Looking over at Jay she asks, "want another bowl?"
Jay shakes his head.
"Nah, im good for now." He says and lites a cigarette.
Kaia smiles and takes one out and smokes it. Jay takes a couple of hits and puts it out. Kaia keeps smoking hers.
"So, Kaia. Tell me about yourself." Jay says.
Kaia looks at Jay and says, "what do you want to know?"
Jay smiles softly, "Everything."
Kaia sighs.
"Um. Im seventeen. I love wolves. Like....love wolves. Im single and lesbian." Kaia says smiling softly at Jay.
"Im seventeen too. Im single and lesbian." Jay admits.
Kaia stared at Jay. She saw the girl features. Jay had girl hands. She was cute. No. Kaia wouldve went bi for Jay if he wasnt a girl.
"Yeah. I know i dress and talk like a boy." Jay says.
"No. I wasnt going to say that." She said softly. "I wasnt even thinking that. But it does make me curious. Are you Genderfluid or trans?" Kaia says.
"I like using male pronouns. But im happy with what i got." He says.
"Guy on the streets, girl in the streets." Kaia says nodding.
"Basically." Jay responds.
"Dont worry. I gotcha. I dont care about the gender you use. What ever you use you use." Kaia says shrugging. "I better be getting home. Wanna come chill?"
"Nah. Ill try and come later." Jay says.
Kaia nods. "Alright. You got kik?" Kaia asks.
"Hell yeah." He says.
Kaia hands him her phone and waits as ge types and sends it.
"I dont have data, but ill hit you up." Jay says.
Kaia and Jay climb out of the hole.
"Which was you going?" He asks.
Kaia points towards her house.
"There." She says.
Jay chuckles. "Im going that way too." He says smiling.
Kaia smiles. The entire way to Kaia's house, her and Jay where talking. Finally they arrived at her house.
"See ya later." Jay says.
Kaia and Jay do the hand shake again and Jay takes off on his skate borad.
Kaia walks up to her house and walks in. Sighing she goes and gets a drink and goes and lays down. Checking her phone, she realized she spent 3 hours with Jay, making it 1:30pm. She smiles softly as she thinks about her day with Jay. She had a lot of fun talking amd smoking with him. Kaia knows a lot about him now. And Jay knows a bit about Kaia too.
She jumped as her phone buzzed. Looking at it she smiled seeing Jays name and picture.
'Aye.' His message read.
'Hey.' She replied
'Wyd?' Jay asks.
'Laying in bed listening to music.' She types, and sends.
'Cool. Im doing the same.' Jay responds. 'We going to chill later?' He asks.
'Yeah if you wanna.'
'Yeah. I want to. Your pretty cool.' He says.
Kaia chuckles, 'You arent to bad yourself.'
'Thanks.'
The rest of the night they talked about random things until Jay fell asleep, letting Kaia to fall asleep as well.
