Kaia smiled at the sun rise. She had spent every night for the past three days with Jay. Sitting out on her pourch. Everything was going good. But Kaia was afraid. She has gotten attached to Jay. She is worried about him knowing. Because it had only been a couple weeks and she was really crushing on Jay.
Jay, Jay had quickly made Kaia fall for him. She is listening to love songs, writing and drawing him notes, staying up to talk to him when he goes home. Kaia isnt the type of girl for notes. Jay is the first person to ever get a completed love letter but never received it. She drew Jay and herself as a wolf. Her wolf was thinking about him and around it it said, 'Why cant I get you off my mind.' That one Jay recieved because Kaia's friend gave it to him. Jay hugged Kaia when she walked out.
Kaia's family knows Jay. They know he comes over but doesnt say anything because they know she is happier when she sees Jay before sleeping. The only person who doesnt know about Jay is Ryan, Kaia's older half sister that got Kaia into smoking weed.
Currently, Ryan is in Georgia meeting up with her kids, so it left Jay and Kaia alone a lot of the time. The days go on and Jay stays til about 10. Once Kaia's father goes inside after his last cigarette for the night Jay looks at her.
"Do you have a crush?" He says.
Kaia looks at Jay worried. She inhales smoke and says, "Um...." she holds it for a minute and blows it out. "Why you wanna know."
"Cuz im curious. You gotta have a crush." He says. "Is it me?"
Kaia blushes deeply and looks at the floor.
"No, what makes you say that?"
"The drawings, the long nights texting, the way you look at me."
Kaia sighs, "Yeah. Im crushing on you."
Jay smirks and says softly, "So why havent you kissed me?"
Kaia looks at Jay quickly and looks away.
"Because i wont kiss someone first unless i lnow they want it." Kaia says.
"So your one of those girls where the other person gotta make the move first." Jay said.
"Yup basically." Kaia says.
Jay smiles and throws his arm over Kaia and starts tickling her side. Kaia jumps at the sudden touch and pushes Jays hand away.
"No tickling." She says.
Jay nods.
"Okay." He says.
Once Kaia droped her hand, Jay poked at her side and made Kaia scoot closer. Kaia grabs Jays hand and looks him in the face. Thats when she noticed her face was close to Jays.
"N-No tickling." She stutters out.
Jay smirks and leans in kissing Kaia.
Kaia kissed backed and instantly lost her tain of thought, of anything but the kiss. Jay pulled away, to soon for Kaia, and smirked. Kaia stares at Jay's face just admiring his face. Then she was snapped back into reality and cleared her throat. She looked back at Jay to feel his lips graze against hers. She shivered and she instantly craved more. Kaia finally leaned in and kissed Jay. She kissed him softly but it suddenly got more heated. She had her hands tangled in Jays hair and was fighting the urge to climb in his lap. Suddenly, her father came out. Jay and Kaia pulled away and Kaia looked at the floor trying to get her mind back.
"Its time for Jay to go home."
Jay and Kaia nodded quick. Kaia's father walked inside the house.
Kaia looked at Jay. "That was..."
"Close." Kaia says finishing Jays sentence.
"Does your parents know your gay?" Jay asks.
"Yea. Mom accepts one hundered and thirteen percent. Dad accepts it but he doesnt want to see it." Kaia explains.
Jay smiles.
"I should be getting home. Ill text you when i get home." He says taking off on his skateboard, after giving Kaia a hug.
Kaia walked in and smiled at the tought of Jay. He made her so happy. And tonight he kissed her.
The instant she thought of the more heated kiss her stomach does flops.
"Holy shit." She whispers.
Laying in bed she took out her phone. Few minutes later, while she was crusing Facebook, she got a text from Jay letting her know he got home safely.
They talk but never once bring up the kiss. Kaia smiles as the last message comes through.
