I should prob tell y'all that the experimental ichor turns into a little blob monster if it doesn't find its own host😅

The sun was high in the sky, casting harsh rays through the thick canopy of the forest as Rodger moved stealthily through the underbrush. Each step was cautious, every sound a potential threat in the eerie stillness that surrounded him. The journey back to the lab was fraught with danger, and he knew that every rustle of leaves or snap of a twig could signal the arrival of something far worse than any wild animal.
As Rodger approached the outskirts of the lab, his heart pounded in his chest. The building loomed in the distance, dark and foreboding, its once gleaming exterior now overgrown with creeping vines and stained with patches of dark ichor. The sight sent a shiver down his spine, but Rodger knew he couldn't turn back now. The answers he sought lay within those walls, and the survival of his group depended on what he could uncover.
Rodger carefully navigated his way through the underbrush, his eye scanning the dilapidated building for any signs of movement. The memory of Dandy's twisted transformation haunted him, the image of his friend's kind face turned monstrous and cruel still vivid in his mind. But he couldn't let fear paralyze him. He had a mission, and he wasn't alone.
He wasn't the only one seeking answers. The survivors from the lab—Glisten, Sprout, Finn, and Cosmo—had decided to join him. Each had their own reasons, their own stakes in this fight against the infection that had claimed so many. Together, they formed a small but determined group, united in their resolve to find a way to fight back.
Glisten, with his golden mirror head and flamboyant personality, was the first to speak as they reached the edge of the forest. His large pink bow fluttered slightly as he adjusted it, his posture both graceful and ready for action. "Rodger, darling, are you sure this is the right way? It's giving me the creeps," he said, though his voice was tinged more with anticipation than fear.
Sprout, his strawberry head nodding in agreement, stepped closer to Rodger. "This place used..."
"...to be so full of life," Sprout murmured, his voice soft and tinged with sadness as he took in the sight of the decaying lab. "It's hard to believe what it's become."
Finn, ever the optimist, tried to lighten the mood, though his fishbowl head bobbed uneasily. "Well, at least we're all together, right? We've gotten through worse—though not by much, I'll admit."
Cosmo, the most nurturing of the group, placed a reassuring hand on Rodger's shoulder. "We're with you, Rodger. Whatever we find in there, we'll face it together."
Rodger nodded, feeling a swell of gratitude toward his companions. Their presence strengthened his resolve. He wasn't alone in this fight. Together, they might stand a chance against the horrors that awaited them inside.
"Let's move," Rodger said, his voice firm despite the unease gnawing at him. "The longer we wait, the more dangerous it gets. We need to get that sample and get out."
The group moved as one, slipping through the crumbling entrance of the lab. Inside, the air was thick with the stench of decay, and the once-bright hallways were now dark and ominous. Flickering lights cast eerie shadows on the walls, and every sound seemed amplified in the oppressive silence.
Glisten led the way, his ability to teleport behind the others at the ready. His eyes darted around, reflecting the faint light as he kept his senses sharp. Behind him, Sprout kept close, her hands ready to provide healing if needed. Finn followed, his normally cheerful demeanor subdued by the heavy atmosphere, while Cosmo brought up the rear, his focus on keeping everyone safe.
