** Good days by SZA**
Waking up to my alarm blaring was definitely not the highlight of my day.
Groaning, I reach over to turn my alarm off.
Peeling my duvet of my body, i get up and walk to my bathroom.
I brush my teeth and wash my face, quickly drying my face and walk to my closet.
Picking out a pare of black leggings, I reach up and grab one of my college sweaters, I quickly pull the legging and sweater on, before leaving I grab a pair of socks and walk out of my closet.
Walking over to my vanity, I do very light makeup, I'm only going to work to not a lot of makeup is needed.
After finishing what little makeup I put on, I grab my phone and walk to the living room or put on my shoes.
Before leaving, I shoot a text to Enzo letting him know I have work today.
I than grab my bag and keys and walk to my car.
___
Arriving to work, which is a library. Turning my car off and getting out I make my way to the entrance.
The bell above the door clims as I walk in, quickly walking behind the register, I set my stuff down and go to one the carts full of books to start sorting them.
As I round the book self, I find Mrs lily, the librarian, aka my boss.
"Good morning Mrs. Lily! It's good to see you!" I cheerfully say.
The little woman she is, turning around she gives me a sweet smile, "Good morning dear!"
Mrs lily has always been a family friend, I've always came to this library since I was a child, once I was able to drive I began working here, not because I need the money but to help Mrs lily, specially after her husband passed when I was 15.
Mrs. Lily and Mr. Richard were high school sweethearts, Richard died from a heart condition when I was 15, it ran in his side of the family, but they never expected him to go so soon.
Being on 75 was not the age most of his family had suffered the condition.
The clim of the bell pulls me from my thoughts, making my way up to the counter.
As I wait for the customer to find there books I start checking in the returned books so I can get them placed back onto the shelves.
A blonde girl around my age makes her way up
The counter with a few romance books I'm quite familiar with."Those are all really good books, my most recommended ones!" I make small talk.
